There is a program that is freeware and it's called "Save 2 PC".
Just google it. :)
I try Vixy.net but sometimes it is slow or not working for video.
I use "Total Video Converter" to convert the video to .3gp or .mp4 (high quality) for my phone.
under ubuntu there's a simple command to convert any flash animation on a site into avi/mp4/3gp file: open console, go in /TMP folder with the console, then enter this line : ffmpeg -i FILETOCONVERT -sameq -f avi (mp4/3GP) CONVERTEDFILE.avi(MP4/3GP)
Well i do it with a Firefox addon.
its called Video DownloadHelper, after i got the Video i use Total Video Convertor.
For me its the fastest way cause it really downlaods the Videos fast!

If you use the browser=Apple Safari free for mac and pc, you can download the mediafiles with the browser itself. Just copy the file in activity and past it in the downloadmanager. and then rename it with the .flv

i usually use V-downloader to download youtube videos and its free. you can change its format to anything ranging from avi to mpeg ..etc
