If it's possible to read them with SETOOL or XS++
i've got them i just need some instructions.
Don't worry the card isn't stolen it was a gift but

no u can't. the PIN or PUK number are not stored in the SIM card
Is there a way to change them without entering the old number?
The PUK is derived from the 15 odd digit written number on your sim.
I think Pin can be reset to 0000 using one these tools. Only for some phones though i think
any programs for SE work only with phone. You may try some programs and sim-reader, but i not sure, that it`s possible
You cannot reset the pin code. The tools you are talking about, resets the "phone lock" code, not the PIN. Good day!Quote:

you can't read those information, the best thing to do is call your service provider or there should be a service avaible, and ask for the PUK number, you must enter three times wronk PIN the it will ask for the PUK number, if you enter this number the PIN will be unblocked and it will ask for new PIN, the PUK number should be provided to you by your service provider, they will ask for the phone number for witch you need the PUK, I guess then they check if it is a stolen or lost number and if it is OK they will provide you the number.Quote:

In Serbia, if we wont to check our PIN or PUK code, we call our operator, and when we buy SIM card, we get our PIN and PUK code with SIM on one little papper.
Here in Paraguay, the operators charge you with 5U$S to unlock the PUK and they don't even give the code to the customers.. It's a shame..
here in USA if you call ur operator they will give you the PUK
bt in bangladesh, operators dont know the PUK. if you loose it , you have to get a new sim.
In my research of software / hardware tools to support my Ericsson, I haven't come across a sim card reader. It's understandable why developers of such a tool would restrict sales so as to prevent people from hacking the sim system. So, I have to agree with some of the previous comments, you cant' read the SIM PIN. I'm not sure about the PUK number though. I would have thought a program like XS++ 3.1 can has the potential to read it.

In Canada, you can call and they'll provide it. I know that in Romania, both major carriers use Cell Broadcast extensively, and you can find out your PUK through there in addition to calling Support.
I hope they do build a program that will read sim lock codes, it would solve a lot of unlock problems

in Pakistan they also provide when you call the customer care center
but the PUK\PIN they gave me is not working .IS it because i flashed my k750 to w800 ?
in Germany you get your Pin and Puk when you buy a new simcard, but i guess u can also call your operator and aks for your Puk.
