w580i - Shake feature without pressing walkman button

Hi Guys,

I came across this website which has the steps on how to use the shake feature in w580i without pressing the walkman button.

Here it goes.

1. Press Walkman (W) button.
2. Press Play.
3. Press down arrow (V).
4. Press right arrow 2 times (> >).
5. Press Walkman (W) button again.
6. Shake the phone left or right.

Shortcut - ( W Play V > > W ) - Shake shake.

Song changes. Cool isnt'it?

but why we need to do this if we can ust press walkman button and shake?

and what do you do if you're walking? lol! this trick is useless i think. and it costs anything just pressing Walkman button... it's a lazy guy trick lol

it's a nice feature if you are sampling songs. but is there a way to go back to normal?

Press the Walkman button again to deactivate.

Guys the above mentioned is jus a trick..Any1 needs this can try..Others can press Walkman button and shake.:D

this trick can be really comfortable sometimes when you just lie down in the bed and listening to music

Press return button to standby screen to go back to normal.

Its not working here. only holding walkman button.

Did you read it carefully?
It works for all w580i.

So why you have to SHAKE? Just put the next button.
I'm pretty sure that the keypad will be locked after a while of standby. At that time to press the Wbutton you have to unlock it first. That's the reason. I used it when I was walking and it worked just fine. I think you might have some trouble if you... run :D
