You could just overwrite it with another "empty" .3gp or relocate it to another file that doesn't really exist. Or delete it, that'd be the most simple thing to do. :D
Set silent profile before taking a photo, shutter sound willl be muted. (In some versions of FW this method not work because is blocked by the operator), or delete shutter file with far :)
I can't seem to locate any sound files (shutter file) other than the ring tones when i browse device. I wonder if its blocked by my software version?
Only set silent you can turn off shutter sound
On "native" W810, even if you put it in the "Silent Mode", the shuter sound comes with the shot.
Do what "your azz" user said...
With Far and SEFT plugin you can delete or change with empty file in this root:
\tpa\preset\system\sound\camerashutter.3gp
you have to debrand your phone to have the silent mode and no shutter sound thing working
or else, use FAR Manager and just delete the shuttersound.3gp files from the phone
does that mean we aslo can replace the camera sound with any sound we like? What's max size of camerashutter.3gp will the mobile support?
you could also try using FAR manager and edit the customization.xml found in your mobile's File System folder under the directory \tpa\preset\custom by adding these lines before the </customization> tag:
This enables camera's to supress the shutter sound when you switch to silent mode on your phone.Code:<camera>
<suppress-camera-sound>true</suppress-camera-sound>
</camera>
mind if I ask which firmware did you use to enable the VKP patch to work? Those patches do not work for Asian firmware versions.Quote:

yes and you have lots of patches for some firmwares to do this or download camera audio files and edit it manually somehow i found tutorial on how to do this but were not interested so i didn't link it
nice works
just set the phone silent . quicker method is to press and hold the # button before going to camera mode. regards
