I really like this phone, big screen, nice style...but just a 2 MP regular phone, nothing too special that will make me want to buy it
I think overall that phone is like an upgraded version of the W580i since it supports 3G and HSDPA (great for me in Taiwan :) ). But the feel of the phone is still the same. Sony seems to like to stick to 2.0MP for a good portion of their phones. I wonder what's stopping them from pushing it up to 3.2MP. The w910i retails for over 400USD in my area so I would assume paying that amount would grant a camera with higher resolutions.
However the software for the phone is still too slow. The menus lag alot here and there when navigating through menus really fast.
But I can comment that the bluetooth on it is really fast for data transfers. I was able to hit about 140~160KB/s transferring from my notebook to the W910i. When transferring data to my Z610i or W800i i can only achieve about 60KB/s. I haven't tested the W910i with A2DP yet but I assume it should be sufficient.
great phone, big hi-quality screen, motion control is great. but 2MP? it's 2008,this phone is selling about 450$ here, I can get a n95 with 500$. I think SE need to think again.
i have a w880 and dont know if the w910 is the upgrade i need right now or not.
i mean the only difference would be the better screen and acoustics perhaps
any suggestions
I use a lot of different phones that uses the 240x320 resolution and the w910i for me I just don't like the feel of the buttons. They are a bit more comfortable compared to the w580i but for putting down that much money for a new w910i, I expected more features and a less laggy software. Even upgraded to the newest firmware it still kinda lags.
I dont think this one can compare with the new W960, with functionality and price
I got myself w910i, really nice phone, but lot of bugs :(
Slider works good, it's light and thin, but as was said, functionality almost like w880i.
