The W850i have UMTS ans a second Camera with VGA quality..the W830 don't have
w850i have 3g(but haven't edge)
and w830 have edge but haven't 3g
W850 -> 3G UMTS, Front Camera
W830 -> GSM , Edge , No Front camera
does an w830i exist? i have never seen pictures of that walkman-phone!

It is not usual for mid-europe, because there are less networks with edge support - the most have only 3G.
I think if I will take one of these two I will take the w850
We have 2 same theme about this.
The W850i has UMTS, better battery(950 mAh), W830i has 900 mAh.
The W830i has HSCSD, EDGE and 1 GB card included.
Other is the same.
i guess the only difference between the two phones is the w850 is 3G with a front camera and the w830 is missing a front camera at the earpiece and it's EDGE.
If I do not lie myself there is as well difference of key of the polyphonies as well. w830i - 40; w850i - 72

nope. i use W830 in trinidad. i have it quad band (works both networks here flawlessly). we don't have 3G but only edge so down here the W830 has the advantage.Quote:
