No, but you can do it and then report. I didn`t need unlocking my phone, because i bought it unlocked.
Nice day
Has anyone tried it yet? its 30$ for Orange french.. at least it is cheaper than Davinci. but i dont know if this really works or not.. If anyone have tried it, tell us..
till now no
Recognised company or not its always risky sending the phones IMEI number over the internet.
i used dvt to de-brand,but the costs for cid52 unlocking seem a bit much at the moment.:(
ive seen imei numbers posted on some forums in log files, its not recommended to show your imei no.
but im not sure the real reason ,i guess it could be used on some other phone
Dear itried not free required money for unlocking
don't send you IMEI. just call up your provider and tell them you want to unlock your phone for international use. in a few hours you have the steps to unlock your phone. that knowledge is worth $30.
I am with a provider (Rogers) that will not give out the code. Therefore paying someone else is the only choice :-)
hummm....maybe try to call up another provider like AT&T and ask them for the unlock code, not sure if the provider matter because it is just an algorithm from SE that i believe they match up with the IMEI number. worst that can happen is they say no. if that fails, i would try SE's tech. give them the a story about how your provider will not unlock your phone and you need to do so because you are traveling out of the country and they should b able to help you out.
you can do that? i think its not that easy to get the unlock code. because what is the reason they insert the unlock code at first? they are using the unlock code because they dont want the people using their handphone with other provider. They have paid for that handphone.
if you want to traveling out of the country, maybe they said that you can use their international roaming, which is a little bit "pricey".. thats it..
thats what i think
just got the phone and are u saying wait 90 days before they can do it?
i once had on my pc an exe file SEcalc was the name, that calculated very well unlock codes for OLD SE phones like t100, t105, t230... but i tried it for a k700 and didn't work so i deleted it... i guess it is possible to unlock any SE by code.
I know this procedure is illegal
u can unlock but u need necessary eqipment such as top sony membership for modding your phone.
how much is this eqipment for unlock??
like always: flashing and unlocking is not the same thing. i flashed my old symbian phone once and it was unlocked as well, but i guess, this is not working with the cid 52 SE phones...
There usually is just the "Flashing" part: unbranding the SOFTWARE. Unlocking allows you to use the phone over any network, this is usually accomplished by an unlock code now which you have to pay for... ie. CID52..
I called Cingular and had them unlock it for free,
How can i unlock my w810i?
Hello, i did mine successfully on ebay!
Good luck
