Anyone has experience on this? I have couple w580i. Rather than paying $50 for each unlock, getting a SE Tool box may make more sense if it indeed works. Any comments will be greatly appreciated. :)

You will still need credits for SE Tool 3 to unlock the phone.
Does it work well? I don't want to spend $$ on the box and credits and came up with some dead phones :)

SE Tool 3 is the full version of SE Tool lite. It's hardware protected by the "box". The box acts as dongle and as a Serial/USB converter.
right now server is closed so you can not unlock cid52 with setool. so no right time to buy one right now

We have 4 in total as a family.... (big fan of SE aren't we?!?) The box will cost $150 and the 30 credits will cost about $100. If the box works as advertise then it'll be totally worth it! :) But I need more comments about the box first.
Honestly "unlocking business' has came across my mind but it's something that requires time and effort lol. Plus ppl have more trust towards shops than an ad on paper or website.

There are several reseller, so you can save shipping costs if there's one in your country. Where do you live?

I actually talked to the sales people of gsmserver. He said the w580i (or cid 52) is not supported by the setool box at the moment. Anyone can confirm?
