Would it be better to update the firmware using seus or actually flashing the phone with the files from here again? I think i read that seus keeps all your data intact like messages and stuff, so id rather use that. But seus still doesnt have the update for it yet. Anyway opinions appreciated ^_^
hi, when seus has no availible upgrades, then you can upgrade with the flash files from here,but if you want not to lose the content(sms,photos...) you just have to Flash the Main (without FS!).

I was kind of wondering the same question.
I have the W580i. I wan tto get rid of the rogers crap and use mp3s as ringtones. Can i just flash main and that will work?
I think that you must flash main , fs and custimization.

One thing. My voicemail phone number does not stay programed in the phone. AFter i set it, a couple days later, it asks me to set it again. kind of annoying... any thoughts?
a work-around i did was to add voicemail number to my phone and set speed dial to 1, so inste of holding down 1 i just press 1 and then press call.
