I tried to flash my phone under Ubuntu. I managed to start the newest XS++ with Wine, however i couldn't connect the phone. I think i need same kind of drivers, like in Windows. Can you help me somehow, because I really don't want to install Windows :)Quote:

I am using both Vista and Linux Ubuntu.
Unfortunately the flash drivers have never been ported for linux.
Recently, I tried EVERYTHING to find a tool that would flash my phone under Ubuntu 7.04. I found nothing. The result was that I had to install Windows XP :(
Sorry, but there is no tool to manage SE firmware upgrades under a linux environment. :(
I had to install Windows XP on a old PC too, in order to flash!
Does flashing linux onto your phone take away the cool walkman player?
