Is there any chance of recording video in better quality (size), maybe QVGA or CIF (320x240)?
sorry, no
Problem is in hardware.
but resolution in k800 is 320.240
why it can't?
Dont think you can change the resolution, maybee the frames captured though(FPS)?
but how i can have better quality in video mode?
you can change number of frames taken in one second like wod07 has already written. i tried that, but there isn't drastic change in quality, just a bit.
i don't want to open new thread, so please answer if you know: can i take pictures or record video with front camera (for videocall)? maybe there's java app for that?
the hardware determines the resolution? but the hardware should support wat...
true!i mean, even a 6233 can do 640*480!!!!giiiz...and ous phones can't!?someone find a way to increase that quality, it's driving me mad.not latest diver, 2.05 hasn't been doing a lot of good, with that respect!
i don't think that the problem it is hardware...i think it is software....like drums1606 said...623x can do 640/480 with a 2mpx camera,and our k800's can't?:)
i think you're right.
to others: maybe nokia 6233 can take video of VGA resolution, but are photos any good?
samsung d-820 can record CIF size video, but has 1.3 mpx photos. what is your point anyway? if you have big res of photos, you must have big res on video? se just went for cheaper solution... don't you think k800 would be able to record CIF video with factory settings if it was possible...
but, the hardware CAN process a 3MPX photo, but not a CIF stream? The photo is almost 10x bigger, and it's saved in a short period of time. So, why can't we record 320x240 video, cos, i'm sure that the SOFTWARE is fault on this, cos, even with 10 FPS, you record at CIF.
Hope we could solve this with a patch or something.
it is not a matter of processing and saving photos. it's problem with capturing video - the video recording hardware is the problem.
if you could patch the phone to record CIF size video, don't you think that factory would do that, and they could sell it more expensive ;)
Sorry for posting in other thread, but: is it real to rise the standard 176x144 resolution on K750i ? (maybe camdriver editing, huh? )
