yea i tried it ages ago on my old k750i and it didn't work told me i needed credits
It's only free for DB2020 as far as I know.
You can upgrade your firmware using SE Tool or XS++.
I havent' tried myself, but ppl say SEUS updates erom
Bad news, today i try to debrand my K800i with same R1KG001 firmware, and Wotan refuse due to invalid or 0 credit

Remove the battery
Delete the login data in Wotan
Press start button
Hold down the keys 2+5 and connect to DCU-60
Insert the battery again (while you still hold down 2+5)
Release the buttons when your phone get's recognized

Just use XS++ it's free plus you can get all the files you need from the Topsony download section.
However I would use SEUS to fix any problems from Wotan refusal.
@DarkAzriel SEUS may upgrade your CID and does NOT debrand your phone.

I meant use SEUS first in case Wotan messed up his phone first when he was debranding it, then use XS++ to debrand his phone for free if he can't get his credit back from Wotan.

What is "EROM"?
erom- extended ROM. This is the base part of the software which isn't flashed in normal update operations. It controls the flashing interface, the boot loader, etc...

2 questions
1-Can we update our phone EROM using FOTA EROMs that exist in TOPSONY or not?
If yes with which program XS++? If no why we can't use ???(because i heard that we can use fota but im not sure please correct me)
2-For updating CID have we use special program or script to update it(e.g K800 CID49 to CID52) or we can do it by flashing CID52 FW ?

1. You can flash the FOTA files with XS++
2. You have to update the CID before you flash CID52 firmware. You can do it with a script, with SEUS or with XS++ (will ask you if you want to update the CID). The CID can only be updated one time.

my erom wont upgrade on wotan, cant figure why, on a side note whats the latest erom for k800i
if you delete the username and password on Wotan and then try the 2+5 thing then this should work. brought my fone back to life after the red flashing light problem!
In plase of user name and password what did u type to acess wotan.

i want to do an erom upgrade [XS++ doesn't work] but i'm afraid to do so
because my phone can't be identified through it's imei [which is why SEUS won't upgrade it]
it it safe to do the upgrade ?

i tried using the wotan client the most up to date client actually, hearing rumors about so called free erom updates... tried on my w300i read everything possible on the net to try and fix my WSOD and without no success wow its annoying lol.... anyone got any suggestions so that therefore I could pass this info on (might I add I dont wanna hear about it unless you truly know) thanks in advance...
i think the free erom updates only for db2020 phones, any idea what caused the wsod, sometimes with the w300i the flex ribbons break or come lose.Quote:
