Sony Ericsson K850 - Full phone specifications
lol yeah looks really cool aswell :D
Well... It's not that good as k750i, k800i was when announced, camera quality is getting worse and worse, :(
Video is QVGA resolution, why not 640x480!? They allways have to spoil something
nice specs
I have a n95 and a k850, the n95 seems to be better quality in good light conditions but the k850 is much better in poor light conditions, simply because of its xenon flash. Also, the light sensor is very sensitive on the k850 and if your hand goes anywhere near it then your picture is wrecked!
Cool Phone, 5mp cam by SE must be great..

Nice day
is it already out ?
this will be the next phone on my to get list. slimmer and better design than the n95
K850 is not good, I am a sale assistant in mobile phone shop, I sell 8 these phones to clients but 2 of them have the problem about quick menu key and the camera light=.=
Nice , I want to have it. but, I have now w880i and still did not complete one year with me hehehe....
Sweet phone, but looking towards next yr for a new phone, possibly k860
i own it and it's buggy yet
K850 - great phone
is this a worthy upgrade from the k800i?
do you mean?
yeah i had the k810i and went for an upgrade a few days ago for the k850i. best phone ever. nice design too. the touch keys take some time getting used to but after that its a wonderful phone. had to debrand it though, it came with vodafone so i had to get rid of it
wish it had wifi though and gps. sony is yet to release a k-series phone with either of those features
Hello everybody!
I find K850i very sleek and beautifully detailed. It is my first SE phone, I just switched from N95. Comparing them is useless, N95 is more of a multimedia mini computer, which has its drawbacks. Like draining the battery ridiciously quick. They had it improved (among many other things) on the new N95 8Gb (my GF has one now, she switched from 1st N95)
K850i sopposed to be 1st true camera phone but its drawback in the market competition lies exactly there, compared to N95. There is not much more to it, as opposed to Nokia, being so full-feature packaged. There is about anything you would wish from software on the net for S60-3 platform. But, this techy-fashion gadget like K850i just took me at the first screenshots on the web. It is so annoying when I am calling somebody and it makes me wait for 3 secs before it dials, but I accept it, I wanted to take photos when one of those moments come and have beautifully crafted gadget like K850i. I find it like a beta for the hardware market. N95 8Gb as a Final:) And I am sure there is a lot more coming from SE in near future.
yeah i have both n95 and the k850 also .... but like the k850 more than n95 cuz is smaller and take pic better at night
best sony ericsson camera phone, isnt it?
this is a nice phone though i bought the K550i instead i wuz low on funds
I really enjoy playing with it a little but i thought it would do better job.
It looks very well the shape is great, the sensitive buttons too but the video recording is the worst part of it, i don't think that can do such better job at taking pics so that i replace my k800 with it, the price is high and the performance is not really significant.
The only thing i would change it because my k800i is old enough and k850 looks better.
The drawbacks are that isn't flash able yet =) and unlock able.
K850i has triggered errors in firmware, there's no doubt about it, also me it on the whole be sorry!!
If I had K800i,so would certainly no walk up and down, but have had old mock - up K700i, so here please, that the will buy K850i budu have for long again take off! But...
K850 is beautiful phone, but K800 making best photos than K850 :(
I hope I can get this phone >.<
Now nokia has introduced n82 and it is cool 5 mp, camera with carl zeuis. it is a competator to k850i.

Had mine since christmas and must say having gone from the K800i it is by far the best picture on all the 5 meg camera phones around at present, as long as you treat it like you would a proper digital camera and take the time to set up the shot. Not a quickshot but then you have to sacrifice some things for better quality. Would definatley recommmend it to all my friends and have done, even converted a couple from their N95's, good thing with the dual memory card slot as you can transfer your N95 memory card to the K850i.
