I have read that the handfree acts as an antenna. So how can we patch our phone. Will it work. Has anybody tried? Some feedback would be greatly appreciated.:)

u r wright ur radio starts without handsfree but worst reception signals your phone recieves. I have already applied this in india, dont know much about other contries their radio signals may be good.
it does not work with my w700i, when i select radio it still asks me to attach my headset
I don't think it is a good idea at all. Even if I do not like using wired handsfree :-(
The radio signal must be miserable.
My radio reception is sometimes miserable even with handsfree kit, so I can't imagine the result without :p
all models' patches r different.. it works but signal quality is so poor !
i tried patching my w700i but the patch does not seem to work
I tried the patch on W800i. The patch works, but i can't receive any stations. I only get noise.
put some metal object to second pin from left and u have better signal
where can i get the patch?

ok i have onw stupid question everyone is posting patches but noone is telling as how to put patches inside the phone i have xs++ and i allready did put some flash menu but not patches any idea how?
First copy the code of patch to notepad and save as patch.vkp
Then follow procedure on this page:
Flash your phone using SETool 2 Lite
Under 3. point.
