I think theres a download in topsony but you need wait 1 month and 20 posts is what they say
Well if you want to be with the newest FW for P1i use SEUS.(sony ericsson update service)
Currently all P1i come with latest firmware..So no need to update yet.
i know FW for P1i use SEUS.(sony ericsson update service)...but how about if me want to used another language that SEUS not found... like chinese language? what software do i need to FW p1i?
No, you can't update the chinese language through SEUS.
You need to change the CDA in order to update the chinese language.
What you need to do is download the P1i CDA at download section.
Note* - You only able to download the files after u registered for 1 month with 20+ posts
my friend did something like that with his phone. I should ask him 2morrow when i see him. Maybe he knows anything.

Or you can use the DavinciTeam to do it (that;s how I did it...). It's 20 euros and was the only option at that time. I believe now you can also do it with XS++.
Emm....looking for more stable firmware for my P1i, any comments??
I tried to change my P1i CDA with XS++, it really simple and work, but no Singapore CDA for the selection, where can download?? Kindly advise, thanks.
No..even over a month and 20 posts, then the list would say you still have 2 registed month to go.

the "c" button...well there is a "c" button , the right half of the 7. or u can use the "@" button on the right side of the phone
my P1i can't read mp4 format. is there any codec or player for adding support some video formats as avi, mp4 ect.
smartmovie or divx player can play the most video,exept real
but P1i can play mp4 as default, maybe the problem is with the video itself
I recently update the latest firmware from SE, but I think i must put it back the old version becouse now it doesn't work on 900 Mhz, and it sad No acces to network.
i dont have problem with Fw but i need to customize it is it same as other sonyericsson phones ??

Hi, I just want to know whether newest P1i-FW supports a kind of certificate-import for WirelessLan. similar to "trusted root authorities" in windows. we need this in our working environment. i had this phone in my hands some days ago. it doesnt seem to have kind of support for this. :confused:
does P1 have built in GPS?

Thanks for datasheet ... but i couldnt find anything about the certificate support. I don't want to flame ^^ but it's support perfectly by Nokia :D wpa2 enterprise protected WLAN with imported root certificate. Otherwhise it's no 'business phone', anyone using wep encryption doesn't know how to handle secured wireless networking.
