Yeah i've just done it it works fine with far manager and The new sefp plugin i'll post some pictures tonight guys it's very easy with far!Quote:

no i meant that the flash menus that were extracted from the S500 work fine on W580... and if S500 support flash themes maybe it will support W580 original themes:rolleyes:Quote:

I have read the turotials and manage to upload flash menus (.swf) to my flash folder on my phone...however my phone is BRANDED by AT&T...do you think this is why it doesn't work? (i used FarManager)
i think it won't work it will display your operator icons...

here sum flash menus that i made from Zedge W880 themes that i've modified for W580 to make ambient lights glow in the same color as the theme... enjoy tell me what do you think about them...what's the max weight i can upload on this forum? i've made other themes but the pack's size's 15mb...:D
flash menu name is at the end of the theme's name... ex: xxxxxx clubpulse flash.thm

i'm not sure if there is a way to backup the firmware of CID51-52, but I think if you'll try to update your unbranded firmware using SEUS, it will flash it with latest branded firmware, according to your CDA number.Quote:

I've added sum pictures of Everchanging flash theme on my W580 to prove that it works great!!!
My phone was Rogers Branded and they had blocked Flash Menus. It is possible that your AT&T phone may have flash themes locked. I had to debrand my phone in order to use flash themes.Quote:

Wow those flash menus look amazing mystik. It's a pity At&t crippled their w580i so much. Hopefully I'll get past that soon :D

I have been in the tpa/preset/system/desktop/flash folder many times and has never seen the DISABLEFLASHDESKTOP file or anything
i think the easier is to debrand your phone... with W580 CID52 and FAR you can't extract files from phone they will be corrupted... just debrand your phone and enjoy! that's my opinion:o

I used xs++ to upload the .swf files to my w580i and used the usb cable to upload the associtaed .thm files to my mem card.
Bingo!!!! My mobile is now beautiful. Really flash menu's rock.
You can flash s500 to w580 for free and gain Walkman and flash lite , btw all "W" phones have Flash LiteQuote:
