There are also Widcomm bluetooth stack and Toshiba's, and of course Microsoft generic, but I'm not sure if you can just switch from one stack to another...
You should check with the company that made your bluetooth adaptor.

i tried bluesoleil but it doesn't work with my Belkin bluetooth dongle... can somebody explain me why?

The Bluesoleil software is most user friendly I hope. The Widcomm's is most functional (with some registry messing ;-)).
good work with bluesoleil, i can search more files.
Toshiba is the one that Im actually using, and probably is the best;)
Toshiba rocks and Bluesoleil v5 is second best!!
i tried to download the latest bluesoil that could do VoIP, but it comes up saying my dongle is not supported and will limit it to 5mb or something. even though bluesoil came with it in the first place...??

This is interesting. I didn't know bluetooth stack is interchangable? I thought it contain something like a driver for the bluetooth dongle that is specific and not interchangeble.
Can anyone confirm this?
i am using toshiba but when i use to use stereo bluetooth headphones to listen music from my pc there is a gap and a problem. sometimes it repeats the first lyric of the song for about 3-5 secs then continuosly plays but there are elapses when the song is playing.
but when i use bluesoleil there's no problem listening music via bluetooth.

It depends what u want to do with your PC and phone :). I use BlueSoleil and it's deam good :). I have little problems with INET via BT but i think i'll fix it. I write the post here.

i am using bluesoleil 5.0.5.178 and i think it is very good and user friendly as compare to its previous versions. Well i don't use widcomm and Tosheba softwares..plz any one give link of these both latest softwares..where i down from..

2. BlueSoleil
3. Toshiba
or 2. Toshiba and 3. BlueSoleil but it DOESN’T MATER the WIDCOMM is the WINNER
