Hello,
I'm new user (understand : newbie ) of this great forum and i want to know if somebody has managed to flash a k610i phone to w660 without bug like "inverted colors" and walkman problem and if i must replace, after flashing, original display driver for the real colors ?

and to use walkman u need to do one of the following:
1)delete the camera drivers(then you cant use camera at all)

- when they are not running you cannot use walkman your phone will crash
- Phone will also crash when loading music or video from filemanager. You need to use walkman all the time
Other than those problems w660 firmware works fine on k610/v630/ etc
there is a step by step tutorial for this on SE-NSE Forums (Powered by Invision Power Board)
or you can use the illumination patch for w660 and then you will have camera and walkman working together at the same time...just adjust the brightness to 50-60% after you apply the patch...the patch can be found inside topsony or se-nse...

I've been looking for the solution to flash my K610i to V630.
K610i to V630 is possible,
simply flash it with V650 flash files
Flash it with V630 file, NOT V650. I think that V series are Vodafone branded.Quote:

It's in the DB2020 patches sticky in the customizing firmware section.

Most files you need are there except custom packs for some regions. I used it and it works no problem. It uses the illumination patch method. I was wondering if anyone has come up with a patch that makes everything work as it should on a k610i@w660i ?
I also saw a tut of flashing a k610 to w660 with a guide for all the problems ( freezing walkman, display etc etc)
patch here,after flashing keep brightness setting low,i reckon the lowest(50 o/o) is fine
