K610i to K530i

is it possible to flash K610 to K530 ?? the hardware is the same, the buttons also..

but why i can't flash my mobile? i run PhoneXS++V15 then i click start, i press c on mobile phone, then i connects to my mobile and everything is ok but when i chose the main firmware (I have a CID 52 phone, so i only flash MAIN) and click flash it shows this

i red in the FAQ that when it shows EaTEbS the battery is low or empty or another thing about the loader. i charge it to 100% then i have put it instantly on PC.

it is possible to convert k610 to K530,but you must flash only main...
i now that it is possible!!!

you will have new version of java, new function (PictBridge) to print the photos...

If the hardware is the same (the location of parts and the way they are attached each others) you can flash the firmware, but only the MAIN as CIBO said. It should work then.

Re-download xs++ and try again

i have done it with cracked davinci, because Xs doesn't support V630 CID52

but the button of generic firmware is not at the same emplacement
i think ok , and cancel call will be intenet service and cancel call will be activity menus , the u must configure them with cutomize.xml or editing main for finding coresspondance of key to use in new cutomization

I get same freeze with PhoneXS 1.5
You will be able to flash the main with no problems with PhoneXS 1.6.6 beta I allready tryed it.

i didn't started a new topic because there was one, and i decided to revive it. i am thinking of flashing my v630i to k530. for what i must be aware of? are there any downsides? do i lose anything? i saw on gsmarena that k530 has radio. i don't think this will work because of hardware, so i'll have a radio button useless, don't i? the next thing is that k530 has MP3/AAC/MPEG4 player.then, on my v630 will i have MPEG4 player? waiting for answers

yes you can flash it with k530 fw...
radio will not work, you will can play files which can k530 plays...

i think that you will not lose something, you will only get.
pictbridge usb mode, new graphic, new java...;)

are you sure the radio not work ?

radio is about hardware. if you have the right hardware in your phone, like radio, then the radio will work. if not you will have a useless shortcut in your menu

no i know that K530 doesn´t support flash menus...

and k610>w660 - i have my k610 flashed with W660 but there are some problems with walkman and sound if you dont delete camera drivers (both)... if you delete it camera will not work but walkman and other will work... i like flash menus, flash desktop, walkman 2.0 ...;)

If I flash main of K530i to K610i EURO5, then I lose Italian language?
My K618i @ K610i is unlocked by flash patch... I lose it? It's in Main or in FS?

if it's unlocked by a patch then you'll lose it when you flash the phone

if you only flash main you lose your language. but if you flash the fs too then you will have the italian language again.

there is only two things doesnt work when Flashing K610i to K530i
1-Radio ofcourse & it will not work at all because its a hardware thing
2-videocall & i dont know why the front camera doesnt work and u cant switch to the rear camera,if any one has a custom patch please upload it for us,thanks

Copy camdriver0.dat and camdriver1.dat from k610 to make both cameras work.

where can i find these 2 files,i flashed it again to k610i to get them,but when i copied them using far manager it told me 0bytes,also all other files that i copy them from mobile to my computer using far manager do the same thing,could u please tell me where can i find these 2 files
