this phone is something my girlfriend's dying to get...
major highlights:
8 gigabytes internal memory (no more memorystick lifespan), wireless WiFi capability, its rumored that every purchase contains both stereo portable handsfree + stereo bluetooth headset, touchscreen display, incorporates Symbian 9.1 UIQ 3.0 technology.
major downturns: no memory expansion slot (you get your files either by cable or wifi) - looks easily scratcheable/breakeable... keypad design not for those with fat fingers, exposed camera lens which are prone to environmental scratches... (unlike the k800, w800 which had a lens cover to protect the camera surface)
the only thing I find interesting is the 8GB capacity and wide screen for video but other than that, seems like any other new phone with useless features.
Free stereo Bluetooth have? Really? Is it DS970?
w960i is the best UIQ phone now ;)
The P1 has a GPS receiver, the bluetooh headphones will be a treat for SE.

was not pleased with this phone at all , was prob rushed when making it.
It looks true.I have been waiting for this phone for around 6 months ever since I first got my eyes on it. I am currently using a W810i & love the phone for its Walkman capabilities. I listen to this music in my car, office, & home theatre system & the mega bass option really brings out the best from any speakers used.Quote:

By the time that the second edition of this phone comes out, I'll be ready for an upgrade and I have had my eye on this phone for awhile. Im also hoping that all the bugs are going to be fixed (if any) and the firmware upgraded for the second editions for this phone because I can see a lot of businesses and power user people wanting/using this phone.
at first i was totally into buying this phone, but after few reviews appeared on the net & people started complaining, i decided not 2 buy that phone
pour battery life, lousy display with bad coloring, back-key is not located next to jog-dial… no way i'm gonna spend my money on all that & much more flaws...
