Good shot but somehow its just the makro of the K750i/K800i which is good and clear. The other pictures are always not so much clear and have a lot of grainiess, dont they?
Or do u have also some good pics of larger distances?
This picture using without Auto Focus, Macromode. captured using infinite focus.
http://www.surgicalinstruments.cmxd....003resized.jpg
Yeah thats what I ment, u can see at once it is not sharp and has a lot of graininess. U can see that already although ur picture is sized very small.
That makes the difference to the high quality cam of the i-mobile 902 or Sharp V903. They dont have this "unsharpness" and almost no graniness.
This is recent one............

"np4tm" well as i noticed this goes with every camera, when picture is in actual size displaye.. here a picture 2.13mb size, download it and check it's properties by right click on file after saving to your pc desktop -- Properties > Summary > Advance , Original Picture of Nikon E5100, No optical or digital zoom is used. although optical do not effect. what you think ?
check at http://www.surgicalinstruments.cmxd....s/DSCN1251.JPG
Yes thats for sure, but the K800i is not capable of shooting photos of good quality if the resolution is higher than 1024x768 (except the macro photos).
And that was what I meant. It is definitaly a good mobile-cam. But it loses against Sharp V903 and i-mobile 902.
They shoot photos like ur Nikon does or even better.
U can see that at once if the res is about 1280x1024. Or even if it is 1024x768. U can see at once then that K800i pics are blurry and have a lot of graininess. The pics of the V903 and i-mobile instead are clear and sharp.
I havent copied my pics on my pc yet coz I dont have the proper cardreader and no connection cable. But I will soon upload some pics so that u can see the difference.
Or maybe u should take a look at a review here: click.
There are some sample pics. Thats the quality u get even if u shiver a little bit while taking the photo.
Well it sounds interesting, i'd love to see your pics you captured using sharp. sharp is always producing quality over quantity my previous expericence. ok. any way i'll waiting for you copying ans showing pictures.........
Well my photos taken with i-mobile are better coz I chosed the better objects or "environment" for the shots. But to show at least some photos I will post my Sharp pics.
But I just shot some trial photos with the Sharp, I didnt really check out all options and tried to get best photos.
And unfortunately I saved the pics just in small size, so I cannot show u the quality in full resolution. But I will soon post the i-mobile photos in full res then u can see that it really takes photos like a real digicam.
So here are some examples.
This one I shot while walking, so no specially standing still for seconds or something:
http://img49.imageshack.us/img49/812...2411xi5.th.jpg
http://img236.imageshack.us/img236/6...1509np2.th.jpg
http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/6...7231um2.th.jpg
http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/1...1442xv3.th.jpg
http://img258.imageshack.us/img258/4...1848uz9.th.jpg
http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/9...1849jp6.th.jpg
Consider that u dont have to hold the mobile still while taking the shot.
For example the last two pics I shot without looking onto the screen. I couldnt coz the tree was too high. Also I had to stand on my toes.
That makes these cams so good. U can really just put it out and press the cam button. The photo will be always at least in the quality like shown.
I check url you provide to mobile-review, found pictures are with much grain when sized to actual, was more than cyber-shot k790. what you think ?
also nikon and canon are the brands professional trust so always these both stands above all digital cams, mobile cams are out of race agains these standalone.
pictures presented here are resized. not in actually size and not originally generated with cam equipment ? no properties except dimensions, res and color depth.
As I said already, the pics from my Sharp are all resized, I havent got them in full res anymore.
And of course the pics of the i-mobile have grain but its not so much, more like of a real digicam. If u resize the pics of the i-mobile on 3MP then u wont see the difference to a good digicam anymore.
The Sharp cam is even better, it shoots just in 3MP but the quality is better than with i-mobile resized on 3MP.
btt: I would like to see sometimes some good shots taken by K800i from middle to far distance.
@cmxd: I guess u are already experienced in the cam of the K800i? Could u try to make some good shots from middle distance like in the city of the crowd passing by or of a building or something?
I mean some distanced pics but not the classical shots of a sunrise or sunset.

The second one is really nice. Probably the best shot I have ever seen taken by K800i on a little higher distance.
The first one is normal for K800i.
What I dont understand, all my photos I shot, even the closer ones like ur second photo, were bad quality. They were all more like ur first shot or worse - blurry and much grain the photos had.
Thats why I didnt keep it. And also because the video capturing is not up to date.
But what did I do wrong, why do u get such good quality pics from the close distance?
I guess the second photo wasnt shot with macro modus?
I still have a K800i at home, tell me what I have to do to get the same quality like u with the close shots.
yes, second one is better, yes no macro is used, it is captured from 6 feet distance or more. i also guess pictures from with 10 to 15 feets are of excellent quality, and macro mode or without macro for lower distance than 10 to 15 are best ones ever captured. actually when you capture photos from far distance your subject consists of low number of pixels, and detail. hope you got what i mean ? as mega pixels or subject is consisting major part of your picture it will be in more detail and clear and there will be no grain and blurrness. actually it's my way of thinking hope you got, don't know if i can explain more technically or thinking right but all that is my way.

welcome to "Photos Taken With K790/K800" thread, please also show your photos and share how you see sorroundings....
Nice photos, the second one is the same quality like the shots I did.
ps: the photo reminds me of Pakistan, are u from India or Pakistan?
are you pakistani ? when did you travell to pakistan, Its captured at Sialkot.
Ya, my dad is Pakistani but my mum is german. Unfortunately I never learned Urdu x(
I have been to Pakistan already (just with my broken Urdu). I am lucky coz I can speak without accent the few sentences I learned. And I look like a Pakistani, so I didnt have any problems over there :D But my bro and sis both look more german; so people always stare at them there ^^
My father was born in a village near Faisalabad. So when I am in Pakistan, then I spend most of the time there. I have also been to Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Murree, Naraan but never to Sialkot :P Although I think its not so far from Faisalabad. Maybe next time I will go there, coz a cousin of mine lives there.
Cool, dude, yes i am Pakistani, Sialkot is about 120km from lahore,
Nice photos. Macro is the best ;) .
Is it raining in Pakistan nowadays? :D Nice shots anyway ;)
Oh yeah forgot, ur having Monsoon rain atm, dont u?
What I miss the most about Pakistan is the food and restaurants. For us it was so cheap and the food was so good :D Thats so cool there. U get a whole meal at McDonalds, KFC or AFC for 1 Euro and the meal is totally fresh.
Im missing that a lot coz in Germany its not halal. And if it is then it costs more than 6 Euros to get an equal meal.
it really has a good camera! i like those pictures, u guys shot awesome!
Switched to K810i, here picture captured using it. I think K810i have better imager quality, will post more so you see difference.

what is macro?
Macro photography refers to close-up photography; the classical definition that the image projected on the "film plane" (i.e film or a digital sensor) is close to the same size as the subject. On 35 mm film (for example), the lens is typically optimized to focus sharply on a small area approaching the size of the film frame. Most 35mm format macro lenses achieve at least 1:2, that is to say, the image on the film is 1/2 the size of the object being photographed. Many 35mm macro lenses are 1:1, meaning the image on the film is the same size as the object being photographed. Another important distinction is that lenses designed for macro are usually at their sharpest at macro focus distances and are not quite as sharp at other focus distances.

hi cmxd and nt4pm, i really thank you deep from the heart for this nice post.
you know its kinda pleasure to take our photophone to their limits, better be occupied by that rather than taking drugs (!!!!)
i bought the k800i, i have never spent so much money over a phone, i had a k700 before, and since he was doing his job (mms, good battery, excellent reception...) i didnt careof other things
Then ther was the possibility to take 2g or plus photos, and for me it changed everything, i take photos everhywher with my k700, and with k800 i wanted to take nice shots in every situation, to make great souvenirs of instant moments.
and then there was a terible surprise
photo taken with k800 are blury, with antialiasing, i thinked that there was a misfunction or the phone was not good, i didnt expect that shots will be similar to some really good cameras (eos) but ididnt expect no more that the noisy effect of cmos like cheap usb camera that we use for messenger !!!
you can chek these 2 photos

http://zarbane.isuisse.com/DSC00008.JPG
i was like mister nt4pm : thinking what is that!!! is that the really cybershot from sony! its my k700 cameras with 1megapixel resolution and resampling to 3meg!!!!!
but then, one day, when i was expecting nothing came these two photos
http://zarbane.isuisse.com/DSC00018.JPG
http://zarbane.isuisse.com/DSC00020.JPG

I DONT UNDERSTAND ANYTHING !!!!!!!!!
mister nt4pm, my only hope is you !!! what to do to make good photos? what are the reglages?
God bless you, gentle people
