Hi, i have a W810i, have been using it for about near on 9/10 months, never had a problem with it. Yesterday, i just turned it off and instead of shutting down, the screen went white. Then it started flashing black and white and it hasnt stopped since. Is there anything i can do to fix it? I've tried using the update service, but the update always fails.

Take XS++1.2..
XS++ 1.5 is buggy, XS++ 1.2 is more stable.
Khaba I don't think so. Ask gbrooks3 and he say the same that I, that XS++1.5 it is normal version
let's not hassle on witch version is best, if you see that 1.5 is better then use it. this is stupid what we are doing here, if v1.5 doesn't work for him the he should use v1.2 and that's it. the guy asked what to do with his problem not asked us to hassle on witch versions are best. the difference between v1.5 and v1.2 is that v1.5 has CID 51/52 support, I said it's buggy cuz i have ssen post where people tried v1.5 and had some errors. I hope we stop this.

By far it must be 10 min, but by xs it can be up to 7 hours
it takes that long cuz you are bruteforceing, it may take up to 7 hours. if it still looks for the code then you can stop but if it started uploading then you must leave it to finish. the tutorial I sent you is without bruteforceing and it takes 10-15 minutes.Quote:

better for W810 is use FAR Manager with SEFP plugin.I too not been lucky with XS++.
hmm...well the blinking screen of death has gone, but now i get "Configuration error. Please contact your network operator or service centre".
your phone wasn't customized/finalized, you can do it with FAR in 5 min

okay so im flashing without bruteforcing, trying to customize/finalize using FAR manager, but whenever i connect the phone, i can see the FLASH and FS folders, and as soon as i try to access the FS folder, the phone goes into usb mode and FAR manager freezes trying to access the folder. I'm so close!!!!! Help!
This is caused coz your fone is cid49.You have to flash for main with xs++ the file w810_p3k_dcu.49R.ssw and then the FS.Then do the things you want with far,flash with xs++ the real main and thats it!Quote:

could please describe what you are doing? the steps ..
First I use XS++ to main flash using w810_p3k_dcu.49R.ssw
Then I flash the filesystem using W810_R4EA031_FS_EUROPE_2_RED49.fbn (i figure i should use this one as i'm in the UK)
Then I use FAR manager to get into the FS folder of my phone (at this point, it freezes in opening the FS folder..or just takes longer than it probably should, ive waited 30 minutes and nothing - it says the following: All loaders are taken from SETOOL2. Sending break-in ldr: cid49run: sent 1 bytes)
i did it in the end!!! WOO! didnt bother with FAR manager and customised with XS++

Nice job! You brought your w810 out of hell and back into earth =) YAYAYAY! So if you ever get the white screen of death, just reflash the main and FS, then customize?

SORRY I'M FRESHER TO ALL THINGS. but reflash means what? i reflashed my w810 with W810_R4EA031_MAIN_GENERIC_HN_RED49.mbn by x++. it takes about 2minutes approximately 344 blocks ..... but nothing changes
