The service menu will appear. Search in "service Info." > "Software Info". Displace the scroll bar to the very end and in "Update service SW - UA version" verify EROM's version.

Turn off his phone, remove the battery, sim and memory card from your handset. Reinsert battery and do NOT power on the phone. Plug USB cable only in the computer.

Wait until the process finishes and appear the message "Flashing was successful - Disconnected...Unplug the phone"

I never update erom. i just update firmware only.what advantage update erom?

you only need to re-flash the erom if youve stuff the original erom,

eg flashed a CID49 phone with CID51 file.

after this wrong flashing, your phone will be temporarily stuffed.

re-flash the erom as mentioned above, and you'll be okay.

it offers no advantages, its is only intended as a fix for a stuffed erom.

Is it the EROM that makes a phone RED or BROWN? Does the above work for a K750i? If so, do you have the EROM for K750i?

I have tried to update the firmware using FOTA recently .But it fails everytime saying 'Software update failed.Status will be reported to the server'. Will updating the EROM resolve this? , or do I have to do something else?

How can I flash the erom if my phone is not detected because it wouldn't power on.

I was checked my phone UA version is R3B021, and my phone is W850I. UA Version R3B021 suppose is for the W880I, but my phone W850I is showing as W880I UA version, should i flash my phone?

you have to use externel pwr for uc-10 cable and if you use dcu-60 try to don't use battey but alimentate the fone with pwr supplier

Try to upgrade the EROM with SEUS, those files aren't going to help you

is it possible to downgrade EROMS?

edit: and can you please explain why or why not? i'm just curious as to how SEUS can change your EROM over the DCU-60.

hi, if you have CID49-style firmware and you want to upgrade to a CID51-firmware you wont find a "free" solution for that, so why not chose "upgrade erom" while flashign it with wotan or multiserver. You may damage ur phone by flashing CID51-Erom (although I never tried - still keeping my good old CID 49)

No advantages. CID 52 is only new version of security, preventing bruteforce and other break in stuff.
EROM upgrade on DB 2020 phones needed when you have RED BLINK phone, no improvements you got.
