Unlocking a K750i with W800i firmware CID 49

Why can't anybody just post a tutorial about how to unlock a phone. I've read about 5 forums in a whole day and not a single clear tutorial, Everybody is just taking a guess and gives advices to users making them feel bad for just one lousy mistake they did. Isn't there at least one person who can clear it out and just say "Man, unlocking the phone using the DCU-60 cable that came with your phone is possible, or is not" I'm just tired of one saying that it it's possible technically and another one saying that is not possible practically. It's like no one is sure of what they are saying. And aside of this I am pretty convinced that there has to be a possibility to unlock it with it's own cable because it looks like it's able to change files with FAR manager, it looks like it can be flashed with it, That cable it's nothing more than a interface between an Universal Serial Bus and a Rx-Tx bridge into the phone. As I've learned so far... every single thing can be conncted onto a USB because that's why it's UNIVERSAL.
Are you just trying to make more money? or what else are you afraid of. At least let everybody know why won't anybody say a good reason why it can't be unlocked or how it can be done.

For unlocking your phone you need:
1. A service-cable.
2. semc_v8.4_free which can be found in the download section

Hi. With semc_v8.4 you cannot recover K750i CID 49 Phones, so after you have read and cleared the locks with the service cable you may get CXC version not supported and then your phone will not turn on at all even though it is now unlocked. What I did at this point was use xs++ and changed the CDA of the phone with the service cable so that then I could connect to SEUS with the standard DC-60 cable and SEUS would recognize that the phone could be updated. At This point you just let SEUS do the update like normal and there you go, the phone is now turning on again and unlocked. Hope this may be of help.

@shogun interesting thing u say... but why dont u just use seus... or othee cracked soft that supports cid49... an btw how do you change cda with xs++ dosent that stand for customization??? listed in customize.xml??? you can chane it from there and upload file with FAR... so you wont need xs++ to brutfore the fone...

@wisky_2004. Hi. I couldnt use SEUS because my phones software was uptodate and it would report that my phone was already updated so couldnt do the update. This is why I used xs++ to change the CDA version so that SEUS would then allow me to update. You just run xs++ and the customization option after choosing a CDA version. I havnt managed to find any free software that works well with CID 49, usually they have a problem with recovering phones. This is all I have worked with so far. Thanks

I'm having the same problem... I'm trying to unlock a K750i with W800i firmware CID 36 RED. I only have DCU-60 cable and I was trying to use SETool2 but I can´t get it working... any help?

well , guys here is a brief tutorial that might help you to unlock some CID 49 SE-based phones that are not supported by Semc 8.4 !!

first of all you need both of Semc 8.4 and XS++

as an example of phone i will use K750_cid_49

on ur phone , check which CXC version is installed : > * < < * < , press 1 then 2 , scroll down till u get the desired info .

assuming it contains : K750_R1DB001_MAIN_EU_1_CL_

1- connect to xs++ , and flash main part using K750_R1BC002_CXC125952_EU_1_CL.mbn or any cxc supported by Semc8.4 ...don't try to turn on ur phone after that since it won't work!!!!!

2-launch Semc 8.4 , select the proper interface and model from the drop down list ...click on Unlock tab and check clear SP Locks ...click on Do Selected Jobs..you must have battery fully-charged...you will be asked to remove and re-insert cable and battery many times ...just be patient till it finishes the Unlock procedure...once done get to the next step

3- get back to XS++ soft , connect ur phone as usual , and this time you will flash the original main flash (whose version u checked in the service menu of the phone ) i assumed K750_R1DB001_MAIN_EU_1_CL_
therefore K750_R1DB001_MAIN_EU_1_CL_RED49.mbn as main file

After that , remove battery and re-insert it back after 5 sec ..here u go ur phone is working and unlocked for ever !

Good now that one has such K750 cid 49 red in operating state one can do what one wants or almost:

CAUTION: In spite of what is written SEMCtool_v8.4_free is not compatible with K750_R1DB001_MAIN_EU_1_CL_RED49.mbn if you to use unlock or other with this firmware the telephone will be dead (it will be necessary for you to pay for the reparer).

1/with SEMCtool_v8.4_free you go initially flasher the MAIN and to only touch him with nothing other, the flasher with "K750_R1BC002_MAIN_EU_EMEA_CID49.mbn" (I took on topsony K750_R1BC002_MAIN_EU_EMEA_CID49.bin and I changed the extension).

connect your phone to phoneXS by dcu-60 cable and you will see what CID you have.. it's impossible to miss it.. :)

:)here I have tried to upload the latest k700 cable u can see that i am not lucky to get the old type. U cannot mod this cable as that of darkman so think before you buy dcu-11 new type without black box-just watch out the pictures i have taken from my nokia 6610i camera. i love k750i camera but the phone is bricked due to bad gdfs flash. I should not forget to thank justme for his help. below is the picture with latest type dcu11 which has black box integrated in phone end connector itself. Observe black memory type chip near connector in the picture provided below. look out for this!
