i recently converted my k750 into w800.i saw the new walkman skin and downloaded it.its a .vkp file and a folder named sysgfx.how i will patch this file.i tried to use far and gflash.but couldn't connect.help please........:confused:

do you have USBFLASHDRIVER? Maybe change usb port. Reinstall drivers
try PhoneXs++ and Gslide
he said he converted it recently. if he done it by himself then he has all the drivers he needs.
so...did you convert it by yourself and on same computer on which you are trying to patch it?
The files with .vkp extensions you need put them to the main.bin file with Gslide, and than use Phonexs and flash your phone.Quote:

The original poster said that he had a CID49 phone. I thought FAR Manager was really meant for CID36 phones.

FAR can manage cid49
The easiest way to apply patches to k750i@w800 is with far + xs++
You'll need xs++ to flash thee main with the breakloader... and with far you can apply the patch in no time (no injection in the main flash file... no waiting for a full main flash...).

Gslide, put the main in the first raw, let the second untouched, in the third, put the patch/-es, give the output name and folder, if errors in lines at the patch, look in it and read carefully, and try after with the modified patch, you shall need GSlide v1.5, XS++ to put the main and that's all, remember to make the gfx folder in other/image/card, wherever the patch says that the path goes to...
