K750 problems.

hi.
i kinda really want flash menus on my phone but without buying a new shiny Walkman phone, it's not like i have the money to splash out on another phone aswell of having a k750, k800, and a k510i So i kinda flashed my k750i (CID49) with the w810i firmware(using xs++ ofcourse;) ) hoping that something will work on it, but when installing the w810's FS firmware, block 114 falied since the flash memory in bigger on the w810, leaving me with an unbootable phone.

i reflashed my k750i with the r1c021 RED firmware and all it does now is flash a white screen and turn off again. i don't understand why it does this. it should just work again right?:confused:

while in xs++ when reinstalling the frimware, the software crashes at Starting GDFS, it does load any further (this is when installing the Custpack by the way.) so i just copied all the files into the filesystem using Far manager.

i still can't get it to work, it just loads a white screen for a second a turns off.
any help is greatly appretiated. if you have had a problems like this, please help me?:o

it just crashes like that. and my CDA reads ›m¢*A ›m¢*A along with my region and Firmware verson. i'm happy i know my problem, but how do i get a new GDFS.i thought it's illegal to get it to off someone else?:confused:

if u wright a gdfs to it u will kill it . it not ilegal lol try to update it with the sony ericsson update service 1st then let us know how that goes

yeah, i've download update manager an tried to update it but it just says "your firmware is the highest firmware" or something like that. i even reflashed it with the old r1db001 firmware and tried it. Any other suggestions?

why can't i restore the GDFS. What will it do?

u can wright ur gdfs that came from that phone did u make a back up ? if u try to wright any other gdfs u will brick it it will turn on but stop at 25 % on the please wait bar

have i got any other ways or do i chuck the k750i away?:(

is there away of deleting all of the GDFS and just put a new one on?

and where it comes having flash themes on Cyber-shot phones, can't we just use w880i firmware(on the k800i) but copy the drivers from the old k800i firmware (the keypad, joy stick, and maybe a patch for the camera slide,) and stick them on the new w880 firmware?
i quess it's harder then i think. sony doesn't want us doing this. the drivers probily need and new whole flash system or something. and the k800i has flash lite enabled anyway? why can't i have flash themes?. i dunno.

flash w810i has never worked on k750 download k750 main and fs from hear and fully reflashwith se tool light

i also tried to flash my k510i with the w300i firmware (didn't work:o)
it also crashed, but sony update, updated it and it working again!!

sorry about ALL these stupid questions. but is there any way of putting Flash themes on my k510 use of wxxx firmwares.

my K750i still ain't working and i prefer that phone to my k800i:( then again my k510i didn't have an error in flash like my k750i?

hey Phizfog. when i turned my pc off last night, my phone turned on, it loaded the sony ericsson slash and entered the loading screen:confused:
i didn't do anything?
the loading screen crashes at 0% but i didn't install the Custpack , so i'm seeing if installing the custPACK WILL WORK.
i don't understand mobiles?:confused:

Bad luck. the Custpack did'n't work.
unlike what you said when it'll load 25% then the secuity will kick in, it doesn't load at all.
i don't know what i'm doing wrong?
i can flash it with SeTool2 lite but with XS++ it always crashes at block 291, say that it has no value.
i think its a dead dud. i've check on SE-NSE for a problem like mine, but i'm the only person?
i've flashed it completly back to w800i but no go.:(
i've save my corrupt copy of the GDFS and restored it again. still nothing. doing that probily killed it actually.
at least i've learn't my lesson, "don't play with fire unless you have spare hands"
