w850 dead after flashing

Hi all, i have a w850i which was flashed wrong and now it is completely dead, it just won't turn on. Can anyone help me to fix the phone.

The phone can be flashed to but does not start. I don't have a backup of the GDFS :( . Please can anyone help me?

u have damged ur gdfs and with no back up u will have to test point it with se tool box if u dont have one buy a log for d/ulitment unlocker to reset ur sec units

Is their no other way of reseting the sec unit? and will d/ulitment unlocker fix my phone so it can start up again?

I have used d/ulitment and my phone now flashes a whie screen when i hold the power butten down, and a red led flash, what do i do now to make the phne come back to life?

my computer crashed as i was flashin and the phone is much worst then it was. it was flashing and vibrating when i connected to it via XS++ or setool2 lite. and some times it was saying unknown chipset, unknow cid erom, unable to comuncate with phone port or something and now it has turned to a brown cid 49. i cant flash or do anything to it. it some time works and shows the following but also say unknowen or wrong cid etc....

I think the phone is done for what a waste of £9 :(

oh by the way it was saying the gdfs was a k700 after i flashed the phone but i flashed back the backup dfs to get it back to w850

Is heir anythin i can do to this phone to fix it, or is it cheaper just to go and buy a new phone?

yes i do have msn. my email add is tariq_mban@hotmail.com use that to add me to msn. Do you think the chipset or erom chip is faulty or that matter any hardware parts that might be faulty? and what time will you be on? (GMT)

in about a hour think after flashing it shows as a k700 is most probly the ribbon and top keypad

My phone now shows a white screen when i charge it and still has the flashing red light but without the one vibration and white screen flash.

when i pressed the power button it vibrated 2x and stayed on a whit screen. and every time i press the power button it vibrates.

thanks alot philzfog for your help, the phone is correctly flashed now.
i opened it up and removed the top keypad and reconnected it losely (not clicked in) with my thumb pressing down on the bottom right led. i could see the phone start up and display correctly, but as soon as i fixed it back to the connections it did no work agai, it just flashed white. When i pulled the top keypad off the 3rd or 4th time, half the keypads connection broke off d'oh. i know have to go n get another top key pad. i can hold off them but they are normaly cheaper to get from ebay :-)

i found the ribbon on ebay its about 3 pound which is ok, but the front pcb keypad was about 10-15 not alot of thes for sale i think their was only 2 and one was from china, the local stores where saying 15-25. how much can you get them for?

did you find out how much you can get it for, coz i am really having a hard time finding them cheap anywhere, the phone isnot worth that much, althou i already spent some money on it already to fix it. please get back to me asap
