well. dont know if what i did is correct but, installed the usb flash driver, then opened the aerix program. connected the cable to the phone, then to pc when indicated. typed the username and password when asked, selected my phone from the list and hit 'unlock'. had no sim card in phone at the time (dont know if i should have or not). still get the Vodafone logo when i close the phone and Vodafone Live link still on main screen. maybe should have done a bit more reading and unbranded the phone before doing the unlock bit. however, have tried a 'tesco' sim card and all appears to be working!! can i still unbrand the phone or will it then become locked again? if so, will it then unlock again? anyone know please?
Tested on W760 and worked 100%.
This is full unlock and it cannot be removed by rebranding so it won't be locked again.Quote:

First time I read A2 platform for free - I thought great. But I have a W302 and this will not be supported :(

Hi, can anyone help me with this, I'm pressing down 2 & 5 whilst plugging in the USB like it says but nothing seems to happen?
Does the phone need to be off or on? SIM or no SIM? :S
it should be turned off, reinsert battery, press and hold 2+5 and plug your cable

This works fine I have unlocked 2 W910s and a C510, this program also resets your phone lock code at the same time so if you ever forget your phone lock pin number use this program.The reset phone lock code is 0000 which is the factory default.
If you have server error issues try this : settings,the "server address"
then paste this number: 221.195.40.209
I can confirm it does get rid of the phone lock (where putting another sim card in the phone), the lock was turned off altogether i believe as if no code had ever been entered. - c902.
thats becuse the code it keept in the gdfs off the phone so when it is unlocked it has all the sec units reset ;)

After using the Aerix to unlock my w760, i notice my battery is draining a lot faster now. Is anyone else having similar problems? I reflashed it with the SE update and still the same problem, having to charge it every 2 days, with minimal use.

i am debranding my g502 with a2uploader and work cool
Worked for my W595...bit of playing around as instructions not very detailed, but got it myself via:
- Turn off phone
- Load up Aerix program
- Register [for FREE]
- Open your emails and make sure you click on the link to activate
- Go to "Tools->Settings" in Aerix program
- Enter username and password you chose when registering
- Press "OK"
- Choose your phone [I chose "W595"]
- Click on "Unlock" next to the "Phone type" drop down
- Follow the instructions [I held 2&5 on the keypad of my phone whilst plugging the USB lead in
- Aerix program will start doing it's business and at the end will say "successful" or something like that.

I need help, i have a c510. When i try to connect my cell to aerix, aerix does not detect my phone. I followed the instruction hold on to 2 and 5.
C510 locked on Vodafone UK..
Unlocked in secs...

Does this debrand too? or not? and can somone give me the 510 firmware/custom packs if it doesn't?
when you get this error You must boot via ROM connect your phone to the software with keys *+2 or *+5 not 2+5 like the software says and it's should work just fine
