w910i flashing

hey everybody
i just bought a w910 phone and it has a vodafone firmware
i hate that so i want to reinstall the original one
i had done this before with my previous phones a w300i and w810 using phone xs + far
the only problem i have here is that i don't have a .ssw file like the other two

the other thing is i only found these files for my phone
W910_R1DA038_FS_WESTERN-EUROPE_RED52.fbn and W910_R1DA038_MAIN_GENERIC_SH_RED52.mbn and a customize_upgrade.xml file
(for the other phones i downloaded EUROPE2 i but this one doesnt have it i hope western is good)

anyway any kind of help will be appreciated

westen europe is fine buddie u will have to use the a2 uploader to flash them as well xs or se tool doesnt surport w910

i cannot access it because of my antivirus

just found out that vodafone blocks the customise_upgrade thing
i fixed it using iHateVodafone's method it worked out great

Im from Australia and have had my w910i unlocked, i want to debrand it but i am confused as to what programs and files to download. As i have mentioned im in australia, it was locked to the optus network so id like to remove their logos. What FS, MAIN and CUSTOM files do i need? Thanks im totaly new to this and its my first SE phone. :)

u will need to use the a2 uploader and gernic main and fs and custom pack to debrand it

I haven't used any of my 10 files im allowed to download so why cant i download the files you recommended?

it didnt work for my vodafone branded one

I just acquired an unlocked W910i ( UK 3 Network) and would like to replace the firmware with the original Sony one. The only thing is, I've treid to follow what is being discussed about this subject on a few other sites and I STILL totally bewildered with all the jargon and how this is done....without "bricking" the phone!!!!...this terminology I do understand!!

Let me see if I;ve got this right.
(a) I have to download a piece of software that will interface this W910 to my PC via the USB port.
(b) Download the correct firmware version (how do I choose the correct version) and some other piece of software that will "burn/over-write" the original firmware
If I have this right, could someone be specific with step by step instructions, software requirements and anything else required to accomplish same?, bearing in mind the only flashing I'm aware of often results in being arrested and or serving time in prison.
