It's free in the sense that you don't pay youtube for it. You only pay your provider for the data you use. Thus i recommend you use a unlimited data plan since video streaming does use a lot of bandwidth. Similar like teashark and Opera Mini

It's quicker, uses and uses less data than the wap site and easier to use with more controls. And for some reason my k800i doesn't want to stream clips from the was site. Just says unsupported content that's why i use the app.
