We do MMS of any size...

We do MMS of any size...
We call in FS\system\settings\messaging\mms. there are 2 files: int_mms_sett.xml; mms_sett.xml.
We copy them on a hard disk, do the back-up copy of originals.
Further we open int_mms_sett.xml by a notebook govern line:
<message-max-size>100</message-max-size> - it nothing else than maximal size of MMS of report (in kilobytes). We put there any value(I put 6000) and save.
Further we open mms_sett.xml by a notebook govern line:

Throw the now corrected files back in FS\system\settings\messaging\mms.

if i send a large mms size to my friends, can they download the mms without having a problem..? or, they also need to follow this tutorial first...?:(

what use to create mms of ANY size when mobile operators limit the size of data sent by mms??? :))

Heshamborhan, can boldly send, to the friends it doing is not needed. But send no more, than limitations of your operator.

anghelush, in any way not to go round limitation of operator, send to his limitation.

Although you can do that.. the message is still devided into pieces by your mobil provider if your msg is too long

Its the same for sms messages as well u cant send a bigger message than your providers limit!

it will be very usefull coz there are php scripts to upload using mms settings with wap apn, so is free.

this will not work.

the settings work fine just 1 problem each mms is slitted in 100k and the network operator will charge every 100k(1mms) of data.
so if u send a 6000k mms you will me charget for 60 mms :P nice no?

I have tested this tweak on my z550, both on Vodafone and Orange network in romania... Result is predictable...Simply not working...
Mms will never leave the outbox, because the server just can't allow mms's larger than 100kb...Probably this was the reason SE 'put in' the limit in the first place...

actualy the tweak works... tested on my k310@orange romania and works sent a 300k mms and got charget for 3 mms's damn


if this tweak dosent work it is because your network operator donsent let u send more then 1 standard mms (100k).

wow 6 mbytes. i bet no operator would support files that big. i should try it, i know my operator doesn't allow more than 2 files but i'm not sure about the size.

could anyone upload the original files (int_mms_sett.xml; mms_sett.xml.) because i use xs++, my phone is k750i cid 36 red.

how to copy FS\system\settings\messaging\mms nt_mms_sett.xml; mms_sett.xml. in the hard disk?

in my country Romania, on Orange Ro the MMS limitator is at 100kb, they told us (cc agents ) to tell the customers that an mms bigger than 50kb will not be sent.

You only have to try sending an bigger mms, not exagerating to 6000kb but something around 200-300kb -> a game or app :) maybe if your operator network is not as limited as mine.
The catch is that your friend have to use a pretty good phone that can receive such a big mms.

So, no, this trick is not fake :)

well W810 has suppport for 300kb and my operator is supporting it as 1 mms.... and now after the above settings in XMLs i have also made my k750 to 300kb

How to download files from FS\system\settings\messaging\mms? Few months ago i use FAR & SE Scripter but now I can`t (Don`t know why). I wont to try this method for sending larger MMS. I hope someone will help me. Thanks
