My Phone Explorer not working

My Phone Explorer has stopped working and I cannot re-install it. Does anyone know why this is?

Totally uninstall MyPhoneExplorer,restart PC and than install again but new version(you have here NEW My Phone Explorer 1.7 - Top Sony Forums )

Tried to re-install but still getting error message during installation. Then it just disapears and nothing else happens. It was working until about 4 weeks ago.

Is there anything you did before MyPhoneExplorer stopped working?

Not that I know, just can't re-install it at all.

What is the error message you get?

Scan your PC with a decent and up to date anti virus(like Kaspersky), to be sure there aren't any malware. Also check for errors the hard drive with chkdsk utility. Call it in command prompt like

If nothing helps, reinstall your Windows as last resort.

The error message I get it at the end of installation. It is that the program has stopped working and then it closes down and thats that.
Anyone know how to get around this?

are you installing lastest version?

Yep, have tried last 2 versions and both give same message. Runs all through installation and fails right at the end.
If I run the prgram that has installed the same thing happens.

Try going to C:/programfiles; and delete the my phone explorer folder then restart pc and try to reinstall.
