Hi!
I'm trying to unlock my k800i. First thing I did was to download setool2lite and ran it. I clicked "Read GDFS" and I get the message that "no suitable fsloader found".
Does anyone know what I might have missed? I'm a real amateur when it comes to these things, unfortunately.

Did you install USB flash drivers ? Did Setool recognize your phone? If it is post log here or even better get log from XS++Quote:

Second: I have run "Identify" and I found out the CID and the firmware. The problem now is that when I try to make patch it will not work.
Can it depend on CID? I have CID 49 and if I donīt remember wrong you have to upgrade to CID 52, is that right? If so, how do I upgrade?

Try to redownload the program and update it to v1.11. You should also make sure you have the semc flash driver installed and the phone off and holding 'c' on your phone when you connect your phone
Well use XS++ 3.1 (Darwin) and when you connect your phone with XS++ that program will offer you to upgrade your CID49 to CID52Quote:

Seamonkey, is there another way to upgrade to CID52 because I am used to using SEtool and I want to continue with it. I have searched in the forums but cannot find anything!

in xs is very simple to just bump up cid, first you have to click "connect", attach phone and second program will ask you for upgrade to 52cid, click "yes" and thats all
only two clicks and las than minute waiting.

Guys, I managed to upgrade now but I still have problem.
This time it's the firmware.
Do I need to TWO firmwares or only ONE?
Where can I find the firmware? I couldn't find anything on 4shared.com.
My phone is R1CB001 CID 52.
Please help me...
You don't need to learn use XS++.Use it just to upgrade CID of your phone and unlock with SetoolQuote:

you need the main match to you firmware ( R1CB001 )
you can download it from Download Area
here how you can get access there:

and remov sim lock patch which generated with the main firmware file..

It is pointless to reflash the FS(but if you do, then first backup everything from phone's internal memory, because all data will be lost). Just download the MAIN firmware, and follow the guide in first post of Remove SIM-lock patch generator thread(link in my signature).

Tuki, i'm also a new member on top-sony forums and averything i can help you is to give u some web pages to find a solution for ur problem. I'm using k800i on vodafon(it was unlocked for all networks) and when i updated with seus (sonyericsson update service) it locked himself and become a cid 53 phone. Dont use seus for updating ur phone. Everythin what i could do is to pay for unlocking my phone. I wish u luck with this and be very carreful.
Tuki try to pres "c" and hold it before you inserd battery and relese it only after connect to cable. At last you can try to use 2+5 buttons to connect, and after that try normal "c" method.
