flash menu (.swf) for w800i

finally got my k750i to w800i...:D

can w800i apply .swf or flash menu?
i've done it by flashing it to the flash folder in FS...
and i've apply the right theme...
but it seems not to be working...
can w800i supports the swf??

I think only W800i with R1L002 Firmware and without branding

my firmware is r1bc002...
can i upgrade it to R1L002 ?

R1L002 is firmware that supports only Flash Lite, not flash menus. And it's only for CID 36 phones

Example:Z770 has Flash Lite too,but supports no Flash menus!

FlahLite means it can display flash content in the web browser. Anyways, you can also flash the phone to w700, but there's not much point in doing that...

I didn't say w700 supports flash lite (because it doesn't). However, any w700 firmware works with CID49 k750/w700 but the camera is different (no autofocus) so it won't work. The best firmware for the k750 these days is w800 R1BD because of the elfs.

Elfs are something like .exe on windows, once you start one, you add a small application to the phone. One such application is the book manager.

MAIN_EU1 RED36 should work, if your phone is CID49, patch the firmware to CID49.

Flashing the MAIN doesn't need customization or any other modifications. If you flash the R1BD and it doesn't work, all you have to do to bring it back is flash the R1BC you're currently using and it'll work without a prob. I actually don't know why it wouldn't work since all the APAC configurations are in the FS which won't get touched. And ofc, you're doing all of this on your own responsibility :D.

Again, nothing will happen to the FileSystem or the GDFS if you flash an EU MAIN... You basically have nothing to worry about, and if the MAIN doesn't work, you just reflash the one you currently have on your phone.

In short, you make folders "Config", "Ini" and "Zbin" in other on your phone memory. You also make "Daemons" in other on your memory stick. Then you put DYN_CONST.bin in your "Config" folder and then patch the phone with the two elfpack patches (elfpack and library). After that, you download a simple elf such as "StatusRowClock.elf" and put it in Zbin and try to run it. If it works, you move on to more complicated elfs :rolleyes:
