Need help with K810i CID 53

Hello,

I have a K810i wich i tried to flash because i hade some software problems. I am quite new to flashing mobile phones, so forgive me if i say something wrong.

The plan was to flash the phone with XS++ to version R8BA024, so i downloaded the main firware and file system. I backed up the GDFS before i went flashing. But now I keep getting a configuration error. I read some things about CID 53 phone's, but I don't know what to believe. I also heard that you need to put the original firmware back before you can restore the GDFS.

But how can I do that? Is there still hope for my phone?

CID53 phones can't be flashed with xs++ for now. it's a good thing you backed your GDFS, you can try restoring it but i think you will have to wait untill the new version of XS++ comes out.

oh yeah, maybe other people who have more experience then me can help you. so please post your XS++ log here

Update your phone with SEUS and everything will be OK. ;)
Then if you want to customize your phone ( FS ) use the updated JD Flasher ( only it supports CID 53 ). If you want to apply patches, will have to wait for a month or more... :(

I don't understand. I checked my log and apparently my phone was CID 52 and all off a sudden it changed to CID 53!

I think you can flash it with JDFlasher! For SEUS just tipe in google SEUS download and you will fin it or in download section! Enyoy! :D

Btw, I tried the SEUS, didn't help.. :confused:

your phone is CId 53. You cna flash it with JDflasher. or look on wotanserver or kulankendi but it costs.

To solve the configuration error you need to upload a custom pack for your phone.
Try to upload the custom pack with jdflasher(what support CID53 flashing).
It was a huge mistake to update the phone with SEUS! Now your EROM CID is 53...

I didn't know about the custom pack. I have to go now, but i'll look into it later. I have already downloaded FAR Manager, wich you need to use jdflasher from what I understand. Unfortunately the program looks really difficult to use.

I'll be back later. Thanks for all the help already :) Good to hear that my phone isn't hopelessly lost.

I have tried using JDflasher, but I get an error. It's useless anyway because i can't find any cid53 firmware. :mad:

What I don't understand is that the phone still won't work with an update from SEUS :confused:

Try to upload a K810 custom pack. It should work...

I can't do it with XS++. Guess it's the 53 thing. FAR Manager gives errors. Are there other tools I can do this with?

I think I may have an outdated JDFlasher. It only says 51 & 52 etc in the xml. No 53.

EDIT: I updated the software but I can't figure out how to do it.

after i uploaded i get configuration error... i try to delete what i uploaded.. but i dint saw the customize_upgrade.xml file in the tpa/preset/custom..
