Is flash menu work with W700i ?
my friend's say they successfully flash the firmware of w810 on w700i and then install flash menu.is it really possible? or is there any tricks to make the better look of our W700i
its not possible 2 make ur w700i into 810 but there is another way 2 make ur w700i look like 810
Create 5 folders in your Far Manager folder.
1 "Menu_edited"
2 "Menu"
3 "Layout_remove_scrollbars"
4 "Layout_original"
5 "icons"
When u open one of the .rar files, then u'll see some different things - in this case, u'll see a folder called "layout_remove_scrollbars", a thm file (just tranfer that to ur phone like an ordinary theme), some .gif's or .png files with the name "icon", and a file called menu.ml.
The file called layout.xml is the one u must place in the "Layout_remove-scrollsbars"-folder at the Far Manager folder.
The .gif's should be placed at the folder called "icons".
And the menu.ml file should be placed at the "menu_edited"-folder.
Now we're all set and ready!

the menu and layout original folders r u for making a backup of ur files.....
use phone xs++ and use the k750w800_r2e_dcu.49r.ssw file to flash the main....now its ready for usin with far manager
. 1. Install Far Manager, SE Flash Plugin & USB Flash drivers
2. connect phone usin SEFP plugin ....i.e. press F11 and select sefp then select the bootscript as u selct while usin the acoustic flashing thing....Turn off your phone, and hold "C" down while inserting the USB Cable. You have to do this within 60 secs, or the whole progress must be restarted!
3. now u c flash and fs ....so clik on fs ..now u r inside the file system of ur phone.
4. Go to tpa/preset/system/menu
and now backup the original menu file in the Menu folder tht we previously created and then copy the new menu file frm Menu_edited here .i.e in tpa/preset/system/menu
5. Then open the "icons"-folder on ur pc's farmanager side and copy those icon .png files, too, into the same directory i.e. tpa/preset/system/menu.
6.Then go to the folder called /tpa/system/layout
7.Press the "..." button untill this banner " shutdown csfs loader" comes up. Press "yes"
8. now patch ur phne with farmanager with the rest_W700_R1CA021 file into flash...
9. Now reset phone and u should have new menu icons and a new menu!
thnx rockvivek , 4 the flash menu tricks ,i was seeking 4 this past 4 month,bcoz w700i does not support the flash menu.i will try it.is there any problem if flashing is not done properly,i mean i read somewere if not done properly phone may dead.plz tell me
ya it amezing ,it gives some display problem 4 some themes.do u have more icon set so ican use it as a flash menu in my w700i,

instead of following those complex steps............try these simple steps.......
~~~~~~~::Changing Menus::~~~~~~~~
1.Remove your SIM and turn the fone off
2.[FOR BOTH CID36 AND CID 49]::Open FAR manager program. Press F11 and then select SEFP plugin. in the following screen select… Device:DCU60, Speed: 921600 Boot Script: According to fone model (k750_w800_CID49 OR k750_w800_CID36 )Now Enter The MATRIX!!!
Connect your fone as we do in flashing… your fone should get detected. after a few seconds, a screen will show you two folders, FLASH and FS. Note that the window is divided into two… the left side represents your phone contents. The right side represents your hard drive contents… currently inside FAR manager folder.
3.[FOR BOTH CID36 AND CID 49]:: Now double click on FS and wait for a couple of minutes till it breaks into your FileSytem. Now you are inside the den!!! All files that govern your fone’s functionality are right before your eyes!!! Before u copy something into your fone, u must create a backup folder for your original files (in case you need them). So on the right side (harddrive) of your screen, click anywhere and press F7 to create a new folder. Name it as ‘backup’. On the left side (fone FS) go to --tpa/preset/system/menu/ and u will ound a menu.ml file there,,click and drag it to your backup folder and to delete the original file from fone’s FS, select it and click delete (bottom right of screen) or simply press F8.
4.[FOR BOTH CID36 AND CID 49]:: Copy all your .png or .gif files into the folder and the menu.ml also.......this is it...u r done ...!!!!!Now, that we are finished with our operations, we need to shutdown the loader. For this keep on clicking ‘..’ (root of folder)
until it asks you to shutdown CSFS loader. Click yes and close FAR manager, and unplug fone. Reinsert battery to refresh.
5.Insert SIM & turn on your fone and see d difference.
get far manager from here....it contains all the necessary plugins installed......!!!!!

ya gaurav is right his method is good,simple ,than the rockvivek,but i have one confusion gaurav do i need 2 flash the firmware after the above process is done plz reply me gaurav bcoz i don wana take another risk wid my phone
thnx gaurav , 4 da clear steps ,but when i click on FS or FLASH a small window open showing scanning status or something like that and my phone gets power ON automatically , and the process stop's there .plz guies help me i want 2 do this flash menu method plz suggest me what 2 do

ya friend's i did it ,but tell me one thing can we install these png,menu in a folder so dat we can select other flash menu's like we use da theme i mean select one theme if dont like change 2 another like dat so dat we dont have 2 flash our mobile every time
yes , read the forum carefully u can use the various menu ,even u can move the menu folder to the memory card so u dont have 2 use flash procedure every time,search it if u dont get it then i will tell u
the hardware of w810 and w700 is different,and you cant mix it,you can upload menu.ml and other pics to /tpa/preset/system/menu

because there is no preinstall macromedia flash lite,its just have SVG tiny
guys i don no why there is a flash structure or not but we know w700i does not support flash.
W800 also have got structure in FS, maybe in early version firmware it was possible to add flash menu. (i read somwhere than k750 in R1L002 is possible to set flash theme on desktop)
in my opinion W700/W800 have to weak hardware to play smooth flash menu

sorry but i think the w700i has good hardware 4 multimedia playback except 4 camera .so as u said early,we have 2 wait 4 next version of firmware

yes u r right,that's the reason the w700i is still expensive than k750i

if w700 not support flash menu than why it contain the folder system. desktop/flash. i think by mean of any patch it can support flash menu. although we can change menu icons in w700 but if it support flash menu than menu can be changed simply by changing theme and not always to use uploading to the phone.......................

bam-bini yes it works on generic non-branded w810. My w810 was O2 branded and flash menu was disabled, now it works fine
