New W580i Phone, Can't find firmware

So my g/f got me a W580i phone from ATT. I can't seem to find the firmware for this phone, I read the tutorial on how to debrand or unlock it. This is my current firmware:

I would recommend you to censor you IMEI.

Your firmware is in the topsony download zone.

Actually "R7AC001" is not in the download area. This firmware version is very hard to find.

I have had many W580i with this firmware, since a get them from at&t... the only thing you need to do is FLASH: MAIN, FS, CDA(custom) with the firmware R8BE001_RED52 which is the latest.. then doing this you would be upgrading your phone to this firmware.. then if you want you can do a IDENTIFY and you will see your new firmware...

ITS TESTED I'VE DONE IT SEVERAL TIMES..... mine arrived with R7 and now is R8...

I just finish flashing with the firmware you and yes it works perfect.I had look around for the firmware since I couldn't down it from here (I'm a newbie).

So you used R8BE001_RED52.... Good goin... I'm on 53 so I'm in another boat, I guess...

thanks, this had lead me to a better direction in terms of firmware.

yip! that tutorial is so simple i dont know how you anyone could go wrong. great stuff Bt2008, glad you got it working. ...i recommend not updating to cid53 for now...there isnt much we are able to do with cid53's for now. maybe in future.
