I'm new here and new to SE. It happens when I accidently crack my SIM card and with the lock security set to automatic, i'm now unable to unlock the phone. Is there any way to unlock it?

i think you stole the phone
because if you bought it then you should know your phone lock code
i don't think anyone here will like to help you , if it is stolen
I think you can reset it to 0000 with xs++

Or you could always flash it. That may take away the phone lock.
hmm.. well.. u see.. it is a 2nd hand phone.. and it is my first time using SE.. so i think you should think again before saying something like that..if i'm aware of the phone unlock code, this might not happen..i just use sim lock since the day i own my first phone..Quote:

thanks for helping me. but still, i need to buy the cable first :o just don't have the cable. owh, and btw, i have another 2nd hand phone but it is faulty, k510i. it will hang when it come to the insert sim screen. just wanna ask if with such condition, am i be able to reflash the firmware?

i've bought the cable and then download the driver. but there is message telling me that the xs++ cannot open com port. is there any step i missed?

urm.. about the K510.. there is problem. it said there is problem with the header and when sending a file, it hang. i guess it about the battery and now charging the phone. will try again tonite (well, i'm at south east asia GMT8+)..
