Ok i have a k800i locked to 3 i had it unlocked about a month ago at a random phone shop in the market for £15 but now its gone and its now locked again.
I then paid £6.50 to have it unlocked with gsmliberty but they have not sent me anything or even been in contact in 3 days and theres no history of it so im gona take out a paypal claim soon.
Anyway now im trying to do it my self so i need help. How exactly do i do this.?

ahhhh this stuff is so confusing dont the patches come from the download section... which im not allowed to download from.
You need to get the SETool2 Lite v1.11 form somewhere(just search a bit using any search engine like google, yahoo, etc.). Then download my tool from here Remove SIM-lock patch generator, and follow that tutorial.
Or better, search on this forum, and you will get an download link...

The problem is that missing one step form that tutorial. Here is the missing step(from How to apply patches with SETool2 Lite V1.11 tutorial):
So, first follow these instructions, then do it again what you did.Quote:
You must do this one time! After that you will skip all this process!!!
1. Drag the MAIN file (.mbn) that you have in your phone on to qamaker.exe From the qamaker folder that comes whith SETool2 Lite 1.11; this will create a vkp file;
2. The vkp file created in step 1 put it in to MISC FILES;
3. Click bypass db2020;
4. Add the main FW (.mbn) file (like you would like to flash it);
5. Press FLASH button;
6. Follow the instructions given by setool2 lite. Be carrefull! At one moment you will belive that nothing happens and the status windows is not changing! Not remove the CABLE! Wait until "ELAPSED x SECONDS" appears in status window.
This process will take some time, about 10-15 minutes or more
