i want to use elves and am very confused after reading the views n guides in this forum
now plz i want to know
-really no elf xist for ricoo2??
-how patches differ from elves??
-how to create z-bin etc folders in Phone memory and card??

Hi!
First of all, you need to upgrade to R1BD001 firmware. Then apply this patches:
W800_R1BD001.zip
w800_r1bd001.lib.vkp
Then, go to Other folder in Phone and click "More > New folder", create a folder called ini, and other folder ZBin, inside ZBin, create two folders, Config and Daemons. The same folders in Memory Stick except ini.
Submit DYN_CONST.bin in Config folder in Phone.
dyn_W800_R1BD001.zip
Submit *.elf files in ZBin, if you want to start automatically when you turn the phone, put elves in Daemons in Memory Stick.

Patches Are Applied in Main firmware, and elves starts Automatically or manually from FS.
Elves use more heap than patches and make the phone unstable.
You can apply as many patches as you want, but make sure that no patch causes conflict with another patch.
You can have as many elves as you like, but always taking care not to exceed heap, so there is no reboots and instability. Also, you should ALWAYS have updated library and Dyn_const.bin to avoid reboots.
any patch for capturing images with any key without cam button???
You can try ELF CameraShortcuts.
i think i should use a patch for it coz elf will use my already low heap!!
can i increase it some how??
In this case, it is best to use the CameraShortcuts.elf, because you can configure the buttons for focus, and capture images. I show you an example of CameraShortcuts.ini:
