Hi I have read the tuturiols, but I am having problems with unbranding my K800i which was locked to vodafone, but is now unlocked. But still has the vodafone menu system.
Everytime I try do do something with the phone in xs++ I get the below error
Sorry, your phone is NOT SUPPORTED
Error: Cannot send flash loader
Error: Flashing failed

Can anyone shed any light, on what is going wrong.

yes u have a cid 53 phone u will have to reflash it with jdflasher
Thanks for that, I did it and now it has readded the sim lock tho, looks like its another £15 to get it unlocked
You don't have to pay again. You can unlock it by patch. Watch this Video Tutorial
I have tried patching it, but I can not get a rest copy of the firmware that I have put on my phone, and every setool2lite I have downloaded it has come up with a trojan found in the .exe

Rename your MAIN "k800.mbn". Put it together "mkrest2.exe" into C:\ Documents and Settings\USER X(in my case DAN) , start "command prompt"(Programs/Accesories),type mkrest2.exe k800.mbn and hit enter. A rest file will be generated.

As for Setool, it's not a trojan; add it to "exclusions" .
I will give this a try, I just downloaded setoo2lite, but can not find the file qamaker.exe
do you know where I can get it from?

If it's not in the folder called "qamaker" your antivirus could send it to quarantine.
Yeah I found it now, did the upgrade from 1.10 -> 1.11
But now I can't get my phone to connect to either jdflasher or setool2lite, have reinstalled the drivers but nothing happening.

try to conect to se tool lite with the 2 and 5 button to see if it will conect
