camera issue on k800 and w890i

hello
i have both k800 and w890i and i have same issue with both of them i was taking picture and suddenly the screen is black i can see text and other options but i cant see any thing in the camera it is like i am in a dark room(u know when u are in a dark room u cant see anything it is black but u can browser through camera options. (screen is showing information)) when i pressed the buttom to take the pic when i can see the picture camera can capture pic. but when i was done i press the buttom to return to the camera and now i could see every thing. does n't happen all the time
but i had happend in k800 and now in w890i.
is this hardware problem or software .

i think it is hardware because if the cam is damaged then it wouldn't capure the image at all. but to u guys think
should i update the phone.

Menu > Settings > General > Master Reset > Reset all ( default code is 0000 )

one more thing about w890i
i was going to take a video clip with the mobile and when i started the cam i couldn't see icons (settings icons ) and when i pressed the buttom to get to the option it didn't work at all and i closed the cam and tried to run the cam 3-4 times and now it is working i can see those icons on the screen when u use the camera should i leave the phone at a service center or is this a software problem that can be solved by updating using seus. or doing the master reset

I have also w890i and I never have had this troubles. May be you have the old software. The old software cannot be updated, it always say: you have the last verison! The new software can be update even you have the latest one. I would suggest to go to the supportcenter of SE or to the shop where you get this phone. It seem to be really strange.

Yu ucan give it a try and fuull flash+Customize your phonne with the latest version in the forum download area, if it happens to keep doing the same then take it to support

i haven't updated my
i have the old software i did the master reset and not it is working but i know the software on the phone really sucks .( i get those issues some times and when i restart the phone every thing is fine and somtime when i leave the phone it is fine after som time.)
i bought it a three store in sweden
will they update my phone or will they send it to a service center for update, if they will send it to a service center then it would be better if i could flash it my self , software my phone has is R1EA033_RED52 (hutchison , does topsony have custom pack for my phone 3 s custompack
what firmware should i download can someone help me out.

You can update it by youself. On teh wegsite of SE you will find the software for updating. It will always update the software for new version but not for another software. You can also update in some small Phonestores - ere in Vienna is this verry common. If you want to flash to the custom software you can do it just at Davinci team (just google this name) it will cost 10 euro. If you do not have any idea you can also flash you phone on some small Phone stores. The price is between 15 and 25 euro.
I will recommend the stores because they do not charge for misfailed flashing. With davinci you will also get the money back, but you have to write them and it takes approximetly 4 days.

well, the disappearing options/icons in camera mode isn't a faulty thing i guess. caz there's a shortcut, by which you can hide the icons/options in camera mode. i guess '*' is the key... so, may be you mistakenly pressed * and all the options/icons disappeared and you thought there was some problem with the camera or phone.

w890i is a crappy phone throw it away see how easy it was!:D
