help for first timers W880i

my phone is W880i

and current sofware is
CXC1250640
R1JC002
070122

I want patch for increasing SMS ringing time From 10 secs to at least 1min or more

and the patch that makes the phone sound very loud like NOKIA N73

Your phone is a db2020 and for apply patches you must first flash the quick access patch with the main file.

But how To figre out what firmware virsion ??
and where do I find the patches??

Look connect your phone to xs++ or setool lite and copy here your phones log, but without IMEI number.

Find your firmware version in the hidden menù: Service info/Info Software
or connect the phone with XS++ or use Setool Identify function

but you must upgrade at R8BA024 firmware with a full flash before apply these patches

I have updated my phone to R8BA024
and downloaded setool

but when I press the identfy button then I press C button in the phone then plug the caple nothing happened I waited about 3mins holding C but nothing happened

should I press the C while phone is on or off ??

First you must turn your phone of and then press identfy button and then connect your cable to phone and press c button and hold it. If this doesn`t work, then tried insteed c to press 2+5.

still cant get it connect
by the way I also cant connect the phone to PC SUITE
downloaded and installed W880_Certified_USB_drivers
my PC recognize the phone but setool and PC SUITE CANT

what is the problem??
