General Information about Patch-Unlocking (start here if you want to unlock)

I have checked the IMEI at AMTA - Mind Your Mobile and it says it is NOT blocked! ;)

Now I'm out of ideas. :confused:

Did you first apply Quick Access(QA)patch. Just read this tutorial Remove SIM-lock patch generator - Top Sony Forums and follow instructions for DB2020 phones

Try put someone alse SIM card , maybe your SIM not work good

I tried with several SIM cards, it is the same thing.

Thanks, but I am getting an error, when I plug the K550i it tells me to update, I do, and then disconnect, but when I connect it back, it still says it is a CID 51, after that the SETool will not work, it takes forever and never does anything after connecting, I am doing something wrong? Or my phone is locked for some reason, by the way the phone has a LOCK, I know the password. Any idea, thanks!

Pull out battery some time,put it back and than try connect with XS++

I will give it a try like that, what happens if it doesnt work with that? So I take the battery out, then back in, connect it back, do the upgrade, unplug it, take the battery out again for a while, then put it back in and try it? Correct?

Hello I got updates, I did what you said, to take the battery out for awhile and then put it back in, still same thing... it still CID 5, cant update it to CID 52 with XS++ any idea what else to do?

Some more info, this is what I got from XS++

I cant use any of the programs I have to get the Firmware off my phone, where can I get that firmware for...
