At the bottom left of the post u'll see Thanks button,just press it for say thanks. other versions of firmware: u can get it from [Download section of Topsony] Firmware W810 rest files for w810 which u'll need to apply patch or upload files on ur phone; i've 1. rest_W810_R4DB005.bin & 2. rest_W810_R4EA031.binQuote:

OMG! I am SO thankful for this posting and this forum..!! I just unlocked my W300i and it all went smooth. I really needed a phone as I am travelling down S. America. Shame on Rogers/Fido here in Canada for asking me $50 to give me the unlock codes for my W300 phone. Shame!

Hi am I am trying to run this on my w810i DB: 2010 CID: 49 Cert: Red and when I try to read GDFS I get this in the log which I assume means its failed any advise on how to fix this would be grate.

Can somebody help me - I want to remove SIM-lock on K810i using SEtool 1.11 and SimlockPatchGen v2.2, I follow instructions for DB2020 and CID 52 but when I try to apply quick access patch there is something stucks when starts part 3 and I hear sound like the USB cable disconnects and there shown message Hold "C" and insert USB cable and it can to finish. Please note that after 30 mins I stop the tool and the phone does not work and I have to back to the old state (MAIN, FS and CUSTOM firmware) using the same tool and it work. Please see the attachment.
I can't thank you enough, after flsahing to latest RED CID52 firmware on my k800i I had the message insert correct sim card, now it's gone, you rule man.... Thanks.
Hi there. I have recently successfully unlocked my Sony Ericcson W810i with this tutorial.
I was really concerned as I was unable to find my MAIN firmware file for: R4ED001 but after reading this post from another forum...
"There is no R4ED001 main firmware, I was looking for it too, but how I understood its sony's original firmware and you cant have it http://forums.se-nse.net/public/styl...sense/ohmy.gif , so you will need to find R4EA031 main firmware & fs for flashing...."

I also had a bit of a chew trying to find the USB Flash Drivers. I was unable to find the 64 bit version for my laptop, however my main PC runs on Windows 7 32 bit. Here's the link for the 32bit drivers which worked for me: USBFlashDriver - Download - 4shared - John McHale

and I was locked to the Tesco network.

Thanks to the tutorial, ive managed to unlock my trusty sony ericsson k800i. Lesson learned is never flash an unlocked sony ericsson because it deletes the previous patch for network. Before flashing my k800i, network was unlocked; network subset was unlocked. After flashing, it became network locked; network subset unlocked. Charge to experience.

Hello every one, i am sorry and i know that we are in 2016, but beside the (smartphone) i use i needed an old phone for work so i found one that i liked (W850) but it was locked on vodafone UK network and for allmost a week i tried to unlock and fail but today i found this post and succeded, the phone had cid51 Red and with XS++ upgraded to 52 and the DB is 2020, after that i finaly found SeTool lite that worked without smartcard and proceeded to unlock, after i unlocked the phone:a009 and booted it showed up a message that sad something is wrong with the network...... :a007 but after 10 min o searching i found out that with setool lite you cannot finalize the flashing and the customization is missing so, i opened xs++ and aplied customization and flashed again without firmware and after 10 seconds (8 to put the nano sim card with adapter in the slot) and started the phone it works like a charm. Thank you guys, you are awesome. RESPECT from ROMANIA !!! :a002
