the best thing to do is debrand it first and then unlock after debranding. Use generic MAIN and FS with custpack, your downloaded main does not generate as it might be due to the branded firmware, or try to look the vkp file in "c:/documents & settings/user" foler where user is the user name of the current profile
Hmm... ok, so now i did some stupid thing again. I think I bricked his mobilephone.

dude, Recovery button is not for Setool2lite, it is only for Setool with box and not the lite version, just reflash the MAIN, FS and custpackQuote:

Hello , thanks for this well detailed guide, but ive been busting my chops here for the last 3 hours trying to find the mbn file that i can use with the k610i unlock (also known as db2020 cid 52) Ive been in the download section and the only files there i found (i need region 2 europe) is a fbn file, can someone pleeeeeease tell me where i can get the correct mbn file , or show me to a thread or something that can help me create it..
also in my qamaker folder there is not any qamaker.exe, is that only in the full version ? :S
Edit : After some more soulsearching i found the mbn file, but there is no qamaker in my setool2lite folder, ive tried several mirrors , anyone have a mirror that has everything i need there.
Your antivirus considers qamaker.exe suspicious . Disable it while downloading, then add it to exclusions.

When you flash the MAIN, you must uncheck "Bypass DB2020 security" .
GDFS corrupted, did you make GDFS backup before doing anything? if you have it then restore it back again, if you didn't make backup, you need to gave it to a service center to repair GDFS. (Do not flash other GDFS)Quote:

Trying with my old K510i fkd up the firmware trying agian.
I did make a GDfs save file. but i dont know really how to reverse it.. I think i have to use setool. and under the MISC button direct it to the saved gdfs file right... Bahh this was quite hard to unlock.
You should not write GDFS if it's not corrupted. Reflash ONLY the MAIN as I told you before, with "2+5" and your phone will be OK.Quote:

I'm having a strange issue with a friend's K800... It's cid52 db2020 red
This is not the first time I unlock a phone with vpk patch, but it seems I just can't get it right.
So, I have flashed a new unbranded main + FS to the phone, and made vpk unlock patch and rest file according to my main.
The phone works great with the untouched firmware, but once i patch it and flash the rest, it just won't power on. I'm using seToollite for all this.
I'm sure I'm doing something wrong somewere, so if someone could just point me to it, it would be great.

How unlock se t303 for read sim cosmote for greece?
T303 it's a "LOCOSTO" phone, therefore you can't unlock it for free (if you don't have a service tool).Quote:

hyperion17 - I have watched the video tutorial and can't see anything different to what I am doing:
1. Firmware is at R8BA024
2. Using jdflasher have applied R8BA024 version of executor.b, and executor.jar and customize_upgrade.xml to TPA\Preset\Custom
3. Exit from jdflasher & disconnect phone
4. Start phone, navigate to Games - executor and press select to open. It just opens the text editor and nothing happens, no restart of phone etc
Should I flash the phone to a specific version first in order to run executor (relevant version for firmware)?

Only comment I could make about the Sim-lock generator is that I wouldn't normally expect the output file created in a new folder in My Documents, maybe a folder within the one the Sim-lock app resides in.

hey..this info may help others who share the same difficulties as i did :D at first , following the tutorial i had no luck... the phone wasn't able to turn on after trying to apply the vkp patch . I had to flash main,fs and custom again with xss+ to get it working but the lock still existed... then i tryed flashing with setool2 only the main+ vkp patch selected as "misc" with the "bypass db2020...." feature activated and... IT WORKED :D now i can use any sim i want :D TY dude for this nice little software :D
