Remove SIM-lock patch generator

Hello chaps,
I'm using setool2lt and SIMlockpatchgen to unlock my mobile. I followed the instructions on the web. I managed flashing it, but at the end of the process a message pops saying SOME PATCH FILES DIFFER and asks whether to continue or not. I chose to continue. Then i generated a new vpk file (according to the tutorial) with simlocpatchgen. When I loaded it to setool2lt and pressed WRITE SCRIPT after a while it said EMBEDDED FLASHLOADER NOT RESPONDS. I am at a dead end.

It's SE K610 with CID52.

dalmacija, I had the same problem with setool2lite and fixed it with Far Manager+JDFlasher. See my last reply on page 140. Hope it helps.

I m trying to unlock a W200i but I can't find the file mdb.
With SETool2 Lite whwn I try to read flash I can't find the file in the directory.

So I am good to go. In the tutorial, it says "2. In Windows Explorer drag (Windows drag and drop operation) the MAIN firmware (*.mbn)". But which firmware should I use? I guess K550_R1JD001_FS_EUROPE_4_RED52 is the correct one, but which MAIN?

you should use the MAIN_GENERIC_RED52 for that firmware

There are so many different firmwares I've not got a clue which to use.
I'm from Europe and I speak English anyway and erm my knowledge ends there.

So am I right in understanding that you have to download some firmware put it onto your phone flash it using the XS++ 3.1 before you can actually unlock the phone?

and
W810_R4AEA031_MAIN_GENERIC_HN_RED49.mbn

Are these 2 files ok?
Would they work?
I read somewhere I need the fs file aswell as a main file so would these files be ok for generating an unlock patch?

Do I need to flash the fs aswell as the firmware or just the firmware alone before I go about unlocking my phone?

Reading through the threads on this forum, came to know about the CD52 CD53 stuff. How can I know what would be the CD# for my mobile.

Secondly from where can I get the MAIN firmware? I am confused is it the one from SONYERRICSSON website or something else

well,i got CID 53 but i did everything it said...setools lite says Cant build chain loaders :( help please !!!

Hi,i flashed my firmware to correct one with anycid folder,i did flashing,i did correctly quick patch adding and one thing more...anyway i applied patch from sim lock patch gen..with jdflasher..still nothing its locked,is there more solutions?

hi i have a k770i and its DB2020 and Cid 52 but in setool2 lite 1.1 there is no k770i under Phone Types. How can i unlock it ?

you can try with K790/K800/K810 and post result

You can use FAR Manager and correct VKP Patch

For CID53 phone, use JDFLasher with Far but for the unlock patch you need to use version 2.2 of Simlock Patch Generator as version 2.1 won't work with CID53.

His is cid 52. So just JDFLasher with Far for the unlock patch you only need to use version 2.1 of Simlock Patch Generator.

Should have said - K800i Worked great if you follow instructions.

hello. first of all i'd like to say that i messed my phone right from the start by forgeting to backup my gdfs at the begining ( the inexperience does that sort of things... @hit!!) . The phone works but.... it is network and sim locked now.
i've tried far manager with jd flasher and setool to unlock my red k550i cid 52 and it always asks me the lock code. i'm getting a like upset by it. i've done everything posible as explained on the toturials and nothing works ( I've passed every day and more than a month on it, so yes!!!!!!! i'm doing it the right way, the battery is always fully 100% charged and i really now those 2 programs by memory by now, inclusive the steps to perform such actions). The thing is that i bought this phone already unlocked, but after 1 year of use, the bluetoth stoped working and from time to time it just freezes so i've putted another main in it, and the result is that now it is not only operator locked as also sim locked to a sim card that i guess it doesn't exist! . I can flash the main, the Fs, the Cda, and apply patches but it seems that no patch works. I've tryed flashing it to w610, no problem but still locked.The sim lock generator just don't seems to be able to create a patch to unlock it. Does anyone got any sugestions??? ideas??? same problem??? JESUS!!!!!!! Thanks in advance..... :a007 forgot to mention The simlockgenerator is the 2.1

I guess that you should use the K770_R8AB001_MAIN_TMOBILE_VI_RED52
Or thats is what i downloaded, I have gotten so far as to the Qmaker.exe, But getting no vkp file.
