Re: Aerix - free unlock A2 platform
hi Ive read all the posts and failed to unlock a w595, i had a problem with drivers to start with. but eventually managed to get aerix to run and got the following log
Connecting via SEMC USB Flash Device (USB1)(ver2.2.0.5)
Connecting to the baseband..
Entering service mode…
Detected chipset: DB3150 P3A/P3B/R3A
Boot-ed via: EROM
EROM version: 1200-4341 SEMCBOOT R6A017
The boot mode is not supported
You must boot via ROM

One thing i did notice was the aerix i downloaded said it was for 6RA019 whereas this EROM is 6RA017 could this be the problem? If not how do I boot via ROM?
Re: Aerix - free unlock A2 platform
First of all register its free :). After that run Aerix login and choose your phone ... after that you press unlock press on your phone 2 and 5, plug it in and let the programm do his job :)
Re: Aerix - free unlock A2 platform
Dakinator I have registered and ran the aerix program,,,except I used C instead of 2 and 5... thats how it got as far as it did.. its an error message about the booting.

When you press "C", you boot via EROM. When you press "2+5", you boot via ROM.
You must boot via ROM

Re: Aerix - free unlock A2 platform
Changing firmware don't unlock Sony Ericsson phones. Now your phone it's unlocked, but you have to do step 7. from this tutorial:

install "ggsetup" and identify your phone. If it's CID53, you can't use AERIX.
Re: Aerix - free unlock A2 platform
How do I check if it's CID52 or CID53?
