For applying QA or SIMLock patch you don't need FS(.fbn) file - you need just MAIN(.mbn) file
The problem is that the MAIN and the quick access patch doesn't match. Generate another QA and unlock patches for your current firmware, and unlock the phone again...Quote:

yes that's i reason why your phone did not start up. try it again using qa patch generated by qamaker, dray your main firmware over the qamaker.exe then you will get a vkp file which has a name of your model and version

hey man...really nice tutorial but my problem is that i can not find the qamaker folder in seTools...can you upload or provide a link for setools because i think may be i don't have the complete pack, something is missing from that folder...thanks and once again great job...N' don't you care about those Jerks with stupid comments...well they are stupid enough to mess this simple and step by step tutorial...:)
You can download from SeTool2 Lite 1.11 thread for example. Or just search for Setool2Lite_v1.11 on internet, and you will get a lot of links...

A2 phones cannot be unlocked for free at the momoent. There are paid services to unlock your phone. Just check the main page of this forum(Top Sony - Redireccionando)

You have to flash your phone, then you can install any patch.

5. In command prompt call the ssw2rest.exe like:

- MAIN_firmware is the MAIN firmware with full path that you used to generate the unlock patch
- address is the base address of MAIN firmware. You can get this address from SIMLockPatchGen's status window(ex. Base address: 44140000).
The rest file will be placed aside ssw2rest.exe

If you tell me the path to your SETool2 Lite folder, the name and path to your MAIN firmware I will tell you what you need to type into cmd window.

like jasmin said, change the usb port to another, i.e insert the usb port to another usb port to your computer and try again if it works. it may also be dirty fastport, clean it with alcohol or with pencil tip.
i have tried to unlock with the patch, didn't work. My w810i has simlock 5-closed on it. The log file from Remove SIM soft has following:

I have successfully patched the firmware with setool2lite v.11 but the in the phone the service-simlock status still shows network locked 5-closed. In the Setool2 lite help guide it says that 5-closed network locks can't be patched. is it true?
According to @Simox, it should work with phones "where all the 5 padlocks are locked".
Post also the patching log from Setool.

Most probably you made something wrong when tried to apply the patch. Like hyperion17 said, post the SETool2 Lite log when you applied the patch.

to fix 5 locks problem u need to have it fully unlock or wright the gdfs back upFROM THAT PHONE ONLY !!!this is the only way to fix it as some how u have erased the locks on it is that how u got it
Your phone is already unlocked premanently, so there is no use to patch unlock it, but (like philzfog12 said) this is a GDFS problem...Quote:

Is it possible to use SETool with a CID36 Z525? Because I'm trying to follow this guide, but SETool tells me something about the CID been obsolete and using CID49, but nothing happens.
No, SETool2 Lite doens't support CID36 phones. You need to use Far Manager with SEFP (or jdflasher) plugin(s). Check out the Patching tutorial Farmanager tutorial.Quote:
