General Information about Patch-Unlocking (start here if you want to unlock)

My software version of phone is the K550 R1JD001_RED_53
This software isn't listed in the folders of ANYCID...
It only exists: "R8BA024_CXC1250669_GENERIC_LI.zip"
I think I can't do nothing
Any other solution?

You just need to flash phone with that firmware version R8BA024(MAIN,FS and CUSTPACK) and than you can do whatever you want + you get newest firmware in phone

To apply main, fs and custpack, i should use far manager?
XS++ doesn't support red53?

Allready flashed the phone with the main, Fs and custpack sucessfully but now...
I can't create the rest file from the Main_R8BA024_Red53 file, the rest maker says that "file CX....R8BA024....saved" but it doesn't generated nothing.
Already got the vkp file to patch and the all other things need to unlock the phone besides the .rest file :-(
Tryed the Compatibility propriety (Win95, Win98, Win 2000, Win NT4 and normal) but nothing.
Any help?

hi i have a sony k610i trying to unlock it.
i am at the stage where the guide tells me to find the mbn firmware file? i dont know where to find this file? i dont know what my firmware is. can i back up from my phone and generate a mbn file? or do i need to download one somewhere? all i know its currently on cid52 and db2020. i need this before i can generate a patch.
can anyone help? ive got this far and want to carry on and unlock the phone.

The best option to unlock your CID52 Sony Ericsson model, download SimLockPatchGen, read with this program your main flash file, it will generate a vpk patch file. Upload this vpk flash file witg XS++ or SETool and your phone will be unlocked!

hi i've got a sony k610i trying to unlock it from 3.

i think i know what i need to do... its currently on cid52 and i think i need to get a firmware file, and then use the generator program to generate a vkp file which i patch using se tools to my phone in order to unlock it.

my question though, i've found the page of firmware files, theres 10 or so of them but which one do i use? does it matter?

your phone is an A2 phone, try this : Tune HOuse: Sony Ericsson A2 unlocker free(K850 ETC)

i have k770i and I press connect, then I hold C on the phone and connect the cable... still holding C.. nothing happens...after about 30 seconds it says:

Because i accidentally using Sony Ericsson website to upgrade my frimware...
now im stuck

because i tried to unlock my fren EROM CID 52 and it works exactly.
but then i'm blur for my phone.
